"Had an excellent stay at Cross Hotel Kyoto—easily a 5-star experience. The location is hard to beat, right near Kawaramachi and within walking distance to Gion, Nishiki Market, and tons of great খাব and shopping spots. It made exploring Kyoto incredibly convenient. The rooms were modern, clean, and surprisingly spacious for Japan. The bed was super comfortable, and the little details—like the high-quality toiletries and thoughtful layout—made a big difference after long days of walking around the city. Service was top-notch. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with directions, recommendations, or anything we needed. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick. The hotel itself has a stylish, relaxed vibe, and everything felt well-maintained and high-end without being over-the-top. Overall, Cross Hotel Kyoto is a perfect mix of comfort, location, and service. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto."

"I loved this hotel for the fact that it has a filtered water dispenser which saved us money from buying mineral water from the 7-ll right opposite it. The public bath was also well stocked with make up remover, face cleansing and bath toiletries. Twin Beds were super single, and room size considered big. My only grouse would be that the pillows were so flat and uncomfortable that even 2 couldnt make up for support"

"Perfect location to access trains and walk to many shopping streets, restaurants, Yasaka shrine etc. Rooms are very comfortable with great amenities like cutlery and glasses and coffee and tea. I enjoyed being able to grab a good coffee from the lobby to drink while I got ready in the mornings. The shower may have been the best I’ve *ever* had, worldwide! Everything about our stay was comfortable and lovely. Family Mart on the corner (iykyk). breakfast looked wonderful but we were always out exploring during breakfast hours (iykyk) so we didn’t try it. The only negative was the laundry: convenient in the basement but left our clothes wet even after extended dry cycles, and left it stinkier than when we put it in. Next time, we won’t do laundry…but we will stay again!"

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Theres a little station with free tea and toiletries. Very pleased with my stay here. I was just unaware of the JPY800 extra charge when I arrived. But all in all it was still quite affordable on a budget."
