Breakfast was decent, though there is only one restaurant within walking distance; however, downtown is less than a 5-minute drive away with more options. Access to the base was pretty easy, being about 9 to 10 miles (a 12- to 14-minute drive) from Fort McCoy. Overall, it is a good place to stay, and I would return if I had to."
