"We enjoyed being able to watch the river as we bathed in the open air bath. Plenty of amenities provided, staff was super friendly and helpful, and room was lovely and spacious. Japanese breakfast was huge and delicious and it was wonderful to try some regional specialities."

There are a number of options for food and entertainment around the station, and this is a great hotel to stay at if you’re planning to go to the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. This place is called sunset beach for a reason. Gorgeous sunsets can be seen here all summer long. In Early August they have the Mikuni Fireworks Festival which is the largest fireworks show in Hokuriku. The summer time they also have a bar set up on the beach every night that serves indonesian food and drinks.
