Amazing space

We had an amazing stay. Everything you could think of needing and more is provided. The house is stunning inside and out, on an urbanisation but still private and quiet, 5 minutes outaide of Mijas. An excellent booking and would definitely stay again for sure

Really lovely villa, fitted and furnished to an exceptionally high quality and fully equipped. Peaceful ( but not far from what you need) with great Mountain Views. Warm pool. Amazing villa

We had high expectations when we saw the listing for this villa and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Communication with the owner was very good leading up to our arrival and we felt like we had a great amount of information. When we arrived the villa certainly had the wow factor. Spacious and well equipped throughout. The views were lovely and the location very quiet and not at all overlooked. The cinema and the diner were the icing on the cake and we used them daily. We go to different villas in Spain every year but we would definitely return to this villa: it was pretty much faultless

Awesome family holiday!

Wow..... everything about this property was just perfect! From the booking process, communication with Bob and Denise (the owners), the guides that they provided ahead of our trip, through to the meet and greet by Anna (the housekeeper). Thanks so much for making our stay just perfect. We are certainly suffering the holiday blues 😬 The villa was just what we wanted, and more. The location was perfect, about 10 mins drive from Mijas Pueblo, with stunning views from the many outdoor seating areas. The pool was clean and a great temperature, and provided many hours of fun and relaxation each day for our family. Just what we needed. The standard of villa was 5*, and had all of the amenities you could want from a holiday villa (home away from home), including a cinema room and American diner, with lots of games and entertainment - a great option to keep the kids out of the midday sun! This is certainly a villa we wouldn't hesitate in booking again, and again, and would absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting a luxury villa, with everything you could possibly need for an awesome family holiday in a perfect location. Amazing family break

What a wonderful villa in a stunning location with incredible views. So much to do at the villa - lovely pool and patio area, comfy shady spots for reading, games room and even a cinema! Very well equipped and Anna (housekeeper) was on hand to answer any queries. Would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa is everything as advertised and more - loads of space, great views, excellent outside spaces to relax in, superbly appointed. The kitchen was lovely, the new outside kitchen and BBQ even better and the cinema was the icing on the cake.The place was spotlessly clean and we felt home from home.Many thanks to Anna who was there when we needed something, and the black cat was a welcome visitor too. This is the fourth time staying here. We have been returning for the last 8-9 years or so. Absolutely love it. For the facilities and standard of the property, it’s reasonable priced. Our entire experience with this property, owner, and housekeeper was top notch. They are responsive, attentive to detail, and have a LOVELY villa to offer. Fantastic villa

The whole experience was wonderful. Communication from the owner was great and lots of helpful info given to us before our arrival. The villa is absolutely stunning with equally stunning views. We were met by Anna who showed us everything and was on hand should we have any queries. The villa is of an extremely high standard and we really relaxed and enjoyed our stay. We found it very central for visiting surrounding areas too but of course a car is essential. Just wish we could have stayed for longer !

Superb villa in a lovely picturesque location!

This was our second stay and Casa Albero and it still is as fantastic as before. The location is ideal and 5 minutes away from Mijas Pueblo which is a beautiful village on the edge of a mountain. The facilities are five star! I’m a keen cook and the kitchen is fully equipped. I loved the cinema room too! Elaine and Sue, who manage the property were fantastic and always available to help. We certainly will be booking again ! Thanks Bob and Denise!

A first class villa in a commanding location.

We stayed at Casa Albero for a week in mid October. The property is exceptionally well presented and equipped with a fantastic kitchen dining area, superb bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. Views over the surrounding countryside are uninterrupted and the location on the edge of the development is very quiet and peaceful. The swimming pool,games room and home cinema were a great hit with the kids, providing all day entertainment. Would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone!

We have stayed in quite a few villa in different places but this was one of our favourites . Communication with Bob leading up to stay was excellent, met at villa shown around . Villa is very well equipped . Pool good size and plenty of shade around if you need it . 3 good size bedrooms all an suite and amazing cinema room and games room downstairs. You will need a car but we liked just being away in the hills and villa not overlooked . Will definitely be returning

Blissful and relaxing week

We had a wonderful 8 nights at Bob and Denise's villa. It was exactly as described and the location was in a peaceful urbanisation a few minutes drive from Mijas. We couldn't believe how quiet it was, and the comfortable beds meant we all had brilliant night's sleep. The villa was very well equipped, with a particular highlight being the amazing cinema room and extensive collection of DVDs. The villa is so easily accessible from the airport and there are some lovely local trips. We would have no hesitation in recommending the villa. Bob and Denise were so helpful and responded straight away to any queries.

Splendid villa

We had a fantastic week in this fabulous villa. Our first day was not ideal with a forest fire very close by, but care taker Anna handled it all very well. The villa is very spacious and has absolutely everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We enjoyed the wonderfully shaded terraces, the music system, and of course the pool. Our sons had fun in the ‘diner’ playing pool and listening to a lot of golden oldies on the juke box. With Mijas and Fuengirola just a short drive away there was plenty of choice in restaurants. Wish we could have tried more! We would definitely recommend this villa and would love to visit again.

Great experience

This is a great house, especially for people who want to spend some quality time in it, without bothering to go out (i.e. nice diner room with pool table, real movie theater with excellent sound). But if you are feeling like it, in 10 min drive there is Mijas Pueblo where you can find restaurants and small shops. One very positive remark about our hosts. Bob & Denise (with the great support from Ana) did their best in trying to make our vacations perfect. Specially when unexpected things happen, they were always there with a solution. We are really looking forward to visit this house again, hopefully soon.

Idyllic property with amazing views and fabulous facilities.

The villa was just what we wanted, with private pool and quiet location. Our boys loved the pool table and cinema room, but spent most of the time enjoying the fantastic pool. The villa is up in the hills above Mijas, about ten minutes drive into Mijas Pueblo, Urbanizacion Valtocaldo. The area reminded me of gated communities you see on TV in Los Angeles. Sheer luxury. You will need a car to go food shooping or go to the restaurants in Mijas pueblo, but this was a small price to pay for the stunning, uninterrupted views and beautiful sunsets at night. There were several areas to sit outside, with a veranda off the main bedroom, a large family dining area to the front, and lovely patio couches with awning above at the entrance porch, plus a table and chairs to the side door. Also beautiful sitting area in the garden. This would be ideal for a big family wanting their own space at times to sit out, aswell as the big living room, cinema room and games room for entertainment at night. We would definitely make a return visit!

A fabulous luxury experience at Casa Albero

What a beautiful villa, very clean lovely bedding and soft towels. A very well equipped kitchen with American fridge with ice & water on tap. Denise & Bob have done an amazing job decorating and designing the villa with real attention to detail. We very much enjoyed the cinema room and had an American evening in the diner followed by a movie! Elaine gave us a full & detailed tour of the house on arrival and was readily available for us in case we needed anything clarifying. Everyone enjoyed the swimming pool. Many visit to Mijas to enjoy the shopping and tapas, with trips to Antequera which is a must see and Rhonda with the amazing bridge. The views are stunning when sitting on the verand with a glass of wine watching the sunset or sitting in the comfy seating area. This was topped off with a final meal in the El Postillon lovely prawns Pil Pil and a steak to die for. All in all a very happy satisfying holiday and would definitely return next year! Wow, we felt spoilt....

From the very moment we arrived at the gated entrance, it was clear that this was going to be a luxury break! The house is high enough in the mountains to have the most amazing views, yet only a 10 minute car journey into the beautiful Mijas. The house is stunning, and extremely well equipped. The cinema room and games room were a big hit with my teenager and younger son, they were able to have fun whilst the grown ups relaxed with a glass of wine whilst taking in the fabulous views on one of the many outdoor seating areas. The pool is a great size, very clean, although a touch on the chilly side but it was only April so the solar panels aren't configured to heat the pool much until beginning of May. That didnt stop us Brits, once in it was fine 🤣. We decided against hiring a car as we've never driven on the right side of the road before, but it was never a problem as taxi hire is very easy and not too costly. We used an app called PideTaxi, which pinpointed our exact location, and we could do everything via the app, and have a taxi at the door within 15 mins. It cost between 9-11 euros into Mijas. Mijas is a picture perfect little town, very photogenic, with an amazing choice of eateries and things to visit. There is a small supermarket right by the taxi rank in Mijas, called Erosion, which we used quite a lot. We have never stayed somewhere more than once, but we certainly wouldn't hesitate to book again as it really was a perfect break for the whole family, in a perfect luxury villa. Thankyou!

Die zwei Wochen unseres Urlaubs waren sehr erholsam. Das Haus liegt in einem Siedlungsgebiet oberhalb von Trubel und Lärm. Die Ruhe ist wirklich erstaunlich. Die Fahrtzeiten in die größeren Städte liegen bei 30-40 Minuten im akzeptablen Bereich, Wanderwege starten fast vor dem Haus und zum Strand, wenn man denn möchte, sind es 20 Minuten mit dem Auto. Der Ausblick Richtung Westen in die Berge ist zu jeder Tageszeit großartig. Hier kann man die Zeit sehr gut am Pool auf der Sonnenterrasse verbringen und den Blick schweifen lassen. An kalten Tagen im November wärmt der Kamin. Das Haus selbst ist großzügig gestaltet, überall ist Platz, die großen Fenster machen den Wohnbereich sehr hell. Wir haben uns noch nie so wohl gefühlt in einem Ferienhaus wie hier. Das Haus ist definitiv einen Urlaub wert.
