We have just returned from a wonderful 10 night stay in La Joya, a family of 4 adults and 2 young children..
Communication from the owner, Paul from booking the Villa was excellent and we had contact with Maurice, the property manager prior to our departure.
Our trip didn't get off to the best start as our flight was delayed by 9 hours! We were in constant contact with the wonderful Maurice and he was extremely reassuring, monitored our flight and met us at the property and ensured we not only had a house welcome pack but some extras too for which we were so grateful.
The Villa is perfect, everything you could possibly need and Maurice on hand to help with anything.
Outside space is lovely, great pool and fabulous views.
We walked into the Pueblo most days, a nice walk which takes around 10/15 minutes. We did walk back on most occasions too, just the hill up to the house which is steep, but only around 150yards but fine if you are relatively active and take your time. Taxi's only around 5 euros though and we did use them especially on the very hot days.
Family used public transport down to the coast, good service, only around 15/20 mins and good value.
We have stayed in Mijas Pueblo on a number of occasions, but previously in a Hotel, we will be back but will hopefully use La Joya, either as a family or a couple.
