「Lovely staff with a great welcome and fantastic service throughout. The room in the stable block was perfect, quiet, clean, warm and comfy. Breakfast was plentiful and beautifully cooked from local produce. And what’s nicer than an evening drink in front of an open fire. Perfect」

「I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). 」

「We had a nice week for RC slope flying in the region. The cottage is well equipped for all needs and for cooking for ourselves. A couple shops are close by. The surrounding landscape is great.Another option for preparing coffe other then the pad machine would've been a nice addition (filter holder or french press?).There was a bit of a fowl smell every time we came in, and we weren't able to locate it or get rid of it. But after a bit of ventilation it was ok.Communication with the host was...
