BeachFront, Great Ocean View 2BR+2BTH Suite

Our two-bedroom/two-bathroom suite is perfect for you and your family or friends. From the balconies you can see the Intracoastal Waterway, or the Atlantic Ocean or the downtown skyline. We don't want you to worry about anything but your vacation, so the apartment is fully equipped with towels and bed sheets. The spacious place also provides a fully prepared kitchen, a washer/dryer and comfy living room.
This splendorous place will definitely make your vacation something to remember for a lifetime.

- Mandatory Resort Fee (25 USD+TAX per unit per day), this fee allows you to use the beach services (2 Beach Loungers, 1 Umbrella, and towel service), the beach and pool, with this fee + access to all resort amenities.
- Optional Valet Parking for a Fee, unlimited in & out.
- Smoking and annoying noises in any area of the apartment & building is strictly prohibited.
- Parties and events are not allowed.
- Maximum capacity allowance at any moment is :
- Studio : 2 Adults and 2 Children under 13th
- 1 BedRoom : 2 Adults and 2 Children under 13th
- 2 Bedroom : 4 Adults and 2 Children under 13th
- 3 Bedroom : 6 Adults and 2 Children under 13th.
- To check the bed configuration of each unit please check the unit details/pictures.
- Not following this rules may cause the eviction of the unit, with no money refund of the used or unused days.
- The full or partial closure of the amenities due to extraordinary events, such as Covid19, Hurricanes, etc. are no cause for any special refund, and do not change our cancellation policy at all.
- Please take care of the apartment and also of your neighbors.

Great Location! Poor housekeeping! Dirty linen

The location is great, the amenities are excellent, however…. The apartment was dirty. The bed linen was disgusting, filthy, and old with stains and rips. I felt like we were in a third-world motel! The dishwasher was broken and only worked the first day when I lined a chair to keep the door shut! We had to hand wash the dishes for the rest of our trip! There was no blender, coffee mugs, only a few pots and pans, and the oven was so dirty that when I turned it on, it filled the kitchen with smoke…. I kept asking the manager to get ahold of the housekeeper so we could get a mop to clean the nasty floor and possibly a mid-stay cleaning, but she never responded to my calls or texts. Overall, I’m super disappointed and regret staying there. I wish someone had posted a negative review of this location before! I wish I could post pictures here!!! Stay away from this listing!!!

Great stay

CONS - Three things I would want to change: Carpet needs a serious pressure wash, this place needs new linen/comforters for me comfort, and please be mindful the valet is about $35-$45 a day. PROS - The views were everything, it’s extremely quite, and you have access to the beach which is right in your background. This is my second time staying at the Hyde Beach Resort and would stay there again.

Beautiful condo

We loved the condo and the location! The view was amazing! The property manager was great to deal with! My only complaint was that the balcony left our feet black! I informed the property manager that the balcony needed a deep cleaning. We like to spend time on the balcony! The pool was also amazing! The front desk employees could use some customer service training!

Loved it!!

Loved this place!! Was hesitant to stay here after reading some reviews but my experience was nothing like what was said! Don’t hesitate to stay here! The place was very clean! We had no problems with the elevators at all! No problems with water pressure the shower felt great actually! The rugs were NOT filthy! For the amount of people that prob rent that place the up keep is very well!! And the view what a Gorgeous view!! Would get up early and sit out on the terrace soaking in the sun and enjoying that beautiful view!! The restaurant downstairs had very good food! A little pricey but food was very good! The view of the ocean from the pool floor was absolutely gorgeous!! And it was in a very good location! We will def Be back and will stay here again!

Our Experience

I was really afraid to book this unit based on the reviews, but those low expectations were definitely exceeded. I agree, the walls, carpet, linens, etc. could be improved, but the bathrooms, living room, and kitchen were very clean. A small amount of toiletries and detergents were provided, which was nice (would have loved a dishwasher pod or too, though). The amount of bath towels and plates was small for a large group, so prepare for that. Also, the lighting in master bathroom is dark, so plan to put on makeup elsewhere. The view from the balcony was gorgeous, the outdoor furniture was comfortable, and the pool was AMAZING. For us, the elevators were only a real problem on checkout day (Sunday). The beach chairs available for us were a short walk away but, one day, we had to walk to a farther location and no towels were available. That just made us appreciate the pool even more. ☺️ I would say, do not hesitate to stay here, knowing there are a few limitations.

Disappointed

While the location was great the condo itself was poorly kept. A fresh coat of paint would do wonders. Fixing the broken door handles, towel rods would also help. Providing more basics such as a can opener would have been appreciated. Finally, the time to get an available elevator was ridiculous.

Never again

Not worth it, save your money. Condo had a lot of existing damage, carpets were filthy, only 2 forks and 5 sugar spoons that were about half the size of a teaspoon so we had to eat in shifts. Only two bowls. Several of the towels has stains and had rips in them. Beach was nice but very crowded the week we were there so it was impossible to get any chairs and an umbrella even though we pre-paid for these items for the week when you check in. Same situation at the pool. You basically had to sit on the ground. Only 2 elevators servicing 41 floors so sometimes you had to wait 20 minutes to get an elevator. Front desk will not hold your bags if you check in or out before your room is ready or your can to the airport. Impossible to contact the owner. Thankfully, the weather was great. On a positive note, there is a Winn-Dixie, Starbucks, Walgreens, Walmart. and a Publix nearby.
