The room was clean and staff were nice. The hotel location was great for us. The only draw back was the elevator didnt work but hotel didnt charge resort fee.

Overall… meh. Great location and price for what you get. Friendly staff and no problems. Cool historical hotel. A/C works fine in room. Room is “tired” and beds are rock hard. No housekeeping service available. No microwaves in the entire hotel! Doors have physical keys so don’t loose them. WiFi cost extra and is super spotty - it was free for us to cover the fact that the elevator is broken, which they failed to mention until we checked in. Good beach access for a great price. Just don’t plan on being very comfortable in the room. We would stay again I guess just because of the price and location - can’t beat that.

Our stay did not fully meet our expectations. According to the hotel’s information, check-in is available at 4:00 PM, however, our family was not given a room until 5:00 PM. This was especially challenging as we were traveling with two young children and had already arrived at the hotel. In addition, the room was missing some basic amenities, such as bottled water and cups for brushing teeth, which we normally expect to be provided. While the staff was polite, the late room availability and lack of basic amenities affected our overall comfort. Unfortunately, this was not the experience we had hoped for.

The hygiene of the room is not good, the facilities are outdated, and there is a peculiar smell. My three-year-old kid had a red rash all over his body after staying overnight.

After paying $40 for valet parking in the back of the hotel we had to haul our own luggage all the way around the block to the front. Upon checking out we had to do the same to return to our car. Not what I expect from valet, more like self parking. Before leaving for our cruise , I asked front desk if we were able to leave our luggage at the front desk when we returned since we had a late flight. They informed us that would not be a problem. When we returned they not only told us they would not honor that request but were left to figure what to do with our luggage since they offered no suggestions. Very disappointing stay!

checked in and then immediately checked out just an older rundown building .. paid 40 to valet park the car in the alley walked back out five minutes later and they wouldn’t even refund the valet complete waste of money. it is right on the water so if you want a hotel for a little cheaper of a price this is the place for you.

It was in a great spot but hard to get to because ocean st and was closed for the holidays. They say there is parking but you have to go to Colin’s street and it was 40 dollars a night. The room looked a lot shabbier than the picture and the bathroom walls can use a good cleaning

Horror ! Nothing like the pictures that you see o. Expedia site. We had to move out. The rooms stinks, facilities aren’t working and after a month I haven’t received my money back!

We were aware of the elevator not working. We were placed on the 3rd floor and had to bring our own luggage up and down. The staff did not give towels for the beach as advertised. The staff was not helpful. The beds were hard and felt lumpy. The pillows looked like needed to be replace. I understand that you pay for what you get. I paid over 200 for one night. This wasnt an 80 dollar night.

Location was great. Hotel was not- no coffee maker, no microwave, no tissue, no drinking glasses, no bottled water provided, pillows horrible. Had a tub with a shower connector but no way to turn the shower on. Front lobby old and not inviting- floor to ceiling curtains hanging to hide things. Public washroom filthy. Front desk staff were nice and accommodating. The hotel needs a complete Reno.
