"We had a wonderful stay at the Love Shack! The house was perfect for our group. There were plenty of rooms to split up & play games, chit chat or watch tv. My great niece LOVED the dress up closet! The other young adults enjoyed the basement. Although the sectional fills the family room, it was quite comfy. The bedrooms are better than most VRBOs. Comfy beds & fairly roomy. I wish the kitchen was bigger for our group but we made it work. We even used the grill, which was nice. The neighborhood is older, but very quiet. It is very convenient to get to almost anywhere in Des Moines. There are quite a few steps, so this would not be the house for someone with mobility issues. Tiff, the host, was fantastic! She answered all of my questions and fast! Check in/out was a breeze! We definitely would consider staying her again. "

"We wanted to stay near my sister and it was a walk away. The place was as described, had new furniture, a comfortable bed, well supplied kitchen and was very quiet. The host we readily available for questions and concerns. Cozy and comfortable. Thanks for a great experience. Christmas decorations appreciated."

"Amazing property! The game room and movie room were favorites for the kids (and the adults)! Easy access to fun places in the city. Host was very communicative and provided lots of little touches in the house to make things feel very cozy! Definitely will come back!"

"The entire staff did a wonderful job. The food and service at Bennigan’s was delightful. The snow removal team did a wonderful job with the storm. My wife is an amputee and is in a scooter and with only one leg if she slips on snow, she wouldn’t be able to get back up without calling an ambulance and so it would be great if the shoveling team which you did an awesome job spent time in the area of the handicap parking making sure that there was no snow or ice in the handicap parking anywhere. Overall excellent service "

"Easy access and plentiful off-street parking in a great neighborhood was our first clue that we had selected the right home. The front entry told us everything we needed to know about the entire interior…freshly updated and well decorated. The cooks raved about the kitchen and its equipment, from top end cookware to an oversized fridge, two ovens and a gas range. (After all it WAS Thanksgiving!) We had lots of room and lots of separation. Weather did not allow us to use the pool. Maybe next time!"
