This property is a real gem. It is a beautiful oasis in a very beautiful part of Mexico. The room was superb, the grounds were immaculate, the food was wonderful. The main swimming pool was just wonderful, a pleasant reprieve after a long day exploring the many sights in the area. All of the staff were wonderful. One of the best experiences we have had in our many years of travel. Highly recommended.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful and the staff along with all the amenities were amazing! I would recommend doing as much as you can with your stay there before exploring downtown. We will definitely be visiting again!
We had an amazing stay. The pool, restaurant, and gym were all amazing. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Rooms were large, comfortable, and the bathrooms were terrific.
We chose Hacienda Xcanatun to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and they were able to make my vision come true. Communications with event management was consistent, detailed and they made recommendations for service providers who were excellent. The coordination and collaboration between Hacienda, the DJ, photographer, flower arrangements and bakery for the wedding cake was spot on and everything came together beautifully. All our loved ones were so impressed with everything!!! We were so happy. They made our dreams come true. The grounds were immaculate, the food annd service EXCELLENT and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this property to EVERYONE!
Everything was wonderful and truly met the expectations of a five-star hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff are excellent, always friendly and eager to help, and they speak very good English. There is a restaurant with delicious food and a changing menu, as well as a nice poolside bar. The hotel grounds are beautiful and very relaxing. The air conditioning is strong, which makes a big difference in the heat. It feels much cooler and more comfortable here, and the hotel has everything you need to enjoy your stay without even having to leave the property.
The room was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. The grounds are peaceful and well kept. A little oasis in Meriida

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The property is stunning, the rooms are beautiful, the beds are super comfortable, and the amenities are fantastic. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the food is also great (both in the restaurant and pool bar). My husband and I also got massages and that was the best experience. There is also a great churrro and helado place within walking distance and that did not disappoint. 😉
Great experience, we had an upgrade room with jacuzzi and privacy. The food and the service at the restaurant is excellent. The Hacienda is beautiful, we are coming back soon! 😃

Beautiful sanctuary away from town, great place to relax after days of sightseeing. Waited a long time to get room at 4pm. The pool is amazing and water temperature is perfect. Food at restaurant very good. Spa is nice but very expensive
Hard to rate this place. It’s beautiful and most of the staff were great. My gripe was with the copious amount of mosquitoes in my room and the managements lack of a solution other than suggesting I sleep in repellent. They did provide raid for the room and to be fair there were mosquitoes everywhere. But I wasn’t able to sleep well or relax in the room, which more or less ruined the experience.
I’d suggest investing in mosquito nets if this is a regular problem, which management insisted it was. I’ve stayed in lots of high end places that have netting that adds to rather than detracts from their overall quality.
In the end, I’d hesitate to book this property again for this reason. Otherwise, it was beautiful and the staff were lovely.
My stay at Hacienda Xcanatun was phenomenal and exactly what I needed. The staff and the hospitality they provided exceeded my expectations plus the property is beautiful. I hope to return.

The hotel is in construction of some future residences all over, and even though we got an upgrade on a great room, you could here in the pool and common areas the construction noise most of the day.
