"Nice bungalow with good outdoor spaces, but with a few issues - some strange lighting arrangements where you have to plug a cable in to turn on a light, and the bedrooms are tiny, with a very noisy/squeaky bunk bed in one of them Decent shower, and kitchen seems well equipped. "A lot of information on all outdoor activities (big map, lots of folders), however hardly any instructions on how to use the TV, the oven, etc. Otherwise very well equipped (kitchen, towels, even washing cloths (!)), and clean. Large parking lot Arbritel should warn that in this studio, one has to climb a very small ladder to the bed, where you cannot stand upright, because the slanted roof allows, at the lowest part of the roof, hardly any place for your feet. Hence I slept on the couch...

"The Andrè Rieu package was very well done. The hotel was very accommodating in allowing us to stay in the same room, although we had booked 2 nights separately from the concert package. And they gave us an upgrade at no extra cost for one of the nights when there were no similar rooms to our package room. They made everything easy and the food overall was great as well."

Location is perfect—train station and restaurants right nearby; easy walk to city center—and the hostel itself has plenty of pleasant spaces to land Definitely a lot of stairs (on the steep/short tread depth side), which caught us off-guard with heavy luggage, but we managed and it was definitely worth it. Accessibility issues could be challenging at other times."

"This is a lovely hotel located very close to the train station, but also right in the center of an area where you can go to restaurants, shops, and a little way down from the river. They were willing to take our luggage before we checked in so we didn’t have to drag it with us. Also, the last day, we left it with them in the afternoon until we took the train out. They were always very kind and I would stay there again in a minute!"

"Beautiful, older hotel that needs some TLC. Very friendly staff who are always there to help. The room was relatively clean but is desperate for a make over.....it's showing its age. The hotel decor is quite old fashioned with lots of dark wood and old furniture but still very comfortable. Unfortunately, it's not very good value for money. We stayed for 2 nights which were really quite expensive but it was during an Andre Reiu concert weekend so it's only to be expected. The location is ideal for train travellers, which we were, being literally 100 yards from the station. However, it's on the wrong side of the river for the beautiful old town of Maastricht and the big square where the concert is....about 25 minute slow walk. Would we return? Absolutely."
