"Nice greeting from the staff as we entered. Pretty and spacious rooms, most with balconies overlooking the pool and sea. Bikes, kayaks available for free or rent a fishing pole and go fishing. Restaurant offered delicious breakfast and has live entertainment on some nights. The pool is smaller but very nice with a swim up bar. Plenty of lounges available around the pool or right on the beach. 20/25 minute walk to the center od town or rent a golf cart from the resort. "

This resort is a little piece of heaven in Belize - it is not a fancy 5 star resort instead an eco-luxury resort where you can fall asleep to the sounds of the rainforest, go for peaceful walks in nature, or intense hikes, live on the wild side & zipline or go waterfall rappelling or even do a night hike! If you love nature you will love bocawina! I cannot wait to go back!"

"We loved this house! It's large, roomy, beautifully decorated, and well laid out with the main bedroom on the 1st floor. The beds are very comfortable, and the A/C works well for those hot days! The back area is so peaceful, whether you want to sit out on the deck, the porch, or the dock. The golf cart is really handy for getting into town to check out the restaurants and shops, and the owner made it easy to figure out where to go with great recommendations in the guest book. Based on what I saw, this is definitely one of the nicest rental spaces available in Hopkins, and the owner is very responsive to any questions about the property or the area. From Hopkins as a home base, we were able to go snorkeling, visit Bocawina for ziplining and hiking to a waterfall, visit the Altun Ha site, go cave tubing, go to the Belize Zoo...and had plans to do the Cockscomb waterfall hike but couldn't because of the rain. If you're looking to do any of these activities (and so many more!), they are accessible to you from this place. When you want down time or family time, the kitchen is well stocked for making your own meals, and there are a variety of card decks, games, and books to peruse. Thank you to our host for having this gorgeous place for us to relax in! "

"Had a great two night stay at The Lodge at Jaguar Reef. All of the staff members that we interacted with were helpful and accommodating......especially Julio at the front desk! Amazing room and property. Drinks and bartenders from the restaurant bar and the Big Dock bar were awesome. If we ever return to the area I can't imagine not staying here. "
