"Didn’t put bags down and did not stay. Left without requesting refund -that bad. Staff left property so left a note saying we were not staying. Room lighting was so dark it felt like an alleyway. Smelly, broken AC, insects flying around, no signal on tv. And that was enough to leave. Added note: it’s been years since staying here so the expectation was that it was decent coming in from out of town and seeing it listed on hotels.com. I lost my cash reward but it was worth not waking up with...

"This was a Great, very Homey excellent place to spend time with a small group of close friends and family."

3-bedroom Water Front House in tranquil Cypremort Point with Two ACs for comfort

10/10 Excellent

"Our stay was perfect. The house was super comfortable and clean. And the host is very responsive to questions and accommodating. The screened in porch is also wonderful. We would definitely stay here again!"

The Salty Point....a waterfront fishing cottage with kayaks, ping pong and more!

10/10 Excellent

"Salty Point may be my favorite VRBO stay we’ve been to. It is very clean, well stocked with anything you could need, and the host was very friendly and knowledgeable. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was plenty of room inside and outside . We would gladly stay there again and hope we have the chance to do so!"

Main Street Charm in Historic Downtown Franklin

10/10 Excellent

"We had an excellent stay for two nights while in town for a wedding. This is one of the best properties I’ve stayed at. It was extremely well stocked with many extras that most hosts don’t provide. There was plenty of bottled water, welcome chocolates, toothbrush and razor if you forgot, and also white noise machines for bedrooms which I didn’t need but one of the guests used and loved. It is super cute, clean and comfortable. If ever in the area again, we would definitely want to stay again!"

Charming fishing camp 3 bed room WiFi, AC in Cypremort Point. Boat launch & Dock

10/10 Excellent

"This was a great setup. We plan to come back next year maybe twice. Fishing was ok but the place was great. Good boat ramp and boat stall with cleaning tables. Lived it all"

History and Antiques Surrounded by Sugar Cane Fields

10/10 Excellent

"If you enjoy history, you will love this house. It had an authenticity that many places try to manufacture, from the appliances, pictures on the wall, furniture, and down to the records, and books. We ventured to New Iberia and the surrounding area a lot (Jefferson Island, Avery Island, Lake Fausse, Parish Brewery). I highly recommend Rip Van Winkle gardens, and my husband recommends Ghost in the Machine beer from Parish. The owner, Peter, was very kind and responsive, and Leroy, the caretaker, was friendly and gave us a view into the history of the area. One thing to consider, if you go during Sugar Cane harvest season there will be noise. The processing mill is almost right across the street."
