「Super clean!! Especially with it spread out. Beautiful mornings drinking coffee and looking at the mountains. Be prepared, it is a drive so bring what you need!!」

「Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. The only issue I had was the young lady at the bar was kind of not helpful when I asked her simple questions like how do I order my food otherwise I would highly recommend and highly stay here again. One of the best places we’ve been in the river was just to hop skipping away, and it was beautiful morning to be down by it.」

「The breakfast was awesome. The chef was an excellent cook. I highly recommend getting a room with the breakfast included.」

However, there was a space heater going when we arrived and it had to stay on overnight due to being cold in the room. The water in the shower never heated up past luke warm. There was no one around in morning to find out about...
