「レンタカーでのアクセスを前提に1泊させて頂きました。(Rennes駅とMont Saint Michel の中間に位置しているので、通常のbusでの見学では選択肢にはならないです。) お庭がとても素敵で、日中でしたら英語を話せるフロントの方が対応していただけるのですが、列車遅延などから到着が深夜になりました。インターホンで深夜待機のスタッフに私の拙いフランス語で危うく『飛び込み客』と思われ断らそうになりましたが、偶然他の宿泊客に助けていただけ「素泊まり」することができました。予約は把握されていたようですが、extra bed のオプションが確実に反映さてていなかったのは残念でした。 今回は併設のレストランを利用できませんでしたが、再び訪れる機会があればまた利用してみたいと思います。」

「What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. The home is charming and beautiful. The room was perfection and the grounds were such a surprise. I had no idea they were world class manicured gardens complete with a labyrinth!
