We had a truly wonderful getaway, peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and Sally was an exceptional host.She kindly provided fresh vegetables and herbs for us, which was a lovely touch, and there were plenty of games to keep the kids entertained. The highlight of our trip was the campfire, spending quality time together as a family, away from the city and our devices, while enjoying nature and going for walks.It was a memorable experience, and we’re very grateful for the hospitality.We will be back

Lovely little country cottage if you want a stay in the middle of nowhere but 10 mins to the coffee shop!. Bath is a highlight and get you pool chair and sit out under the stars! thank you Sally for the little finishing touches - little gifts and herbs.

Sally was a delightful host, and the Rockies is the prefect escape, beautiful veiws,comfy bed,and everything you need to be comfortable
and the bath is a huge highlight, would recomend this place to anyone looking to escape life for a few days

It was exceptional from every point of view. We spent wonderful 3 days and nights. A great base to explore the nearby Mount Nangar National Park and limestone caves.Very generous host - we have just used the last herbs that Sally had left in a glass of water in the House, along with other goodies. We would definitively stay again.

Country Bliss
Myself and my partner had a wonderful week at Sally’s cabin we loved the atmosphere and most of all that we could actually stop and relax.
I loved the bath and listening to all the baby lambs..
recommend this amazing accommodation to anyone.

Peaceful
A secluded and peaceful setting, beautiful surroundings, and great house for a getaway. Sally left us some lovely wine and homemade jam, fresh eggs and herbs. We really enjoyed our stay.

Escape the world.
Lovely place to escape and recharge surrounded by nature. Well equipped kitchen so you dont have to venture out unless you want to. Will definitely be back.

A true country escape
This property is very much a bush retreat. Expect wildlife, wonderful views and proper country roads. It was great to be able to walk the farm with the kids. Close enough to places like Orange too for day trips.

Relaxing trip away
Lovely place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Quiet and relaxing. Lovely bathtub in the paddock to enjoy with a glass of wine from one of the local vineyards. Friendly and accommodating hosts. Looking forward to going back.

Fantastic farm stay
We had the most amazing time, the place was like a balm to bustling city living.
Our host Sally was incredible, with extra activities like feeding chickens and collecting eggs.
The night star gazing was fantastic!

Would give 10 stars!
My partner and I absolutely loved our stay. Definitely exceeded all expectations. Came with complimentary gifts of wine, herbs, jams and more. The outdoor bath was the highlight of the stay. Gorgeous during sunset as well as the beautiful views that come with it. Can’t wait to come back

A peaceful scenic property
A very relaxing, scenic property with plenty of native plants and numerous birds. A magnificent view over the valley and towards Mt Canobolas. There are plenty of areas where you can walk around the farm and into the adjacent forest.

If you like peace and tranquility away from the city lights, this is a great option and in reality is not too far from the delights of Orange. We were a group of 4 work associates and commuted daily to Orange. We loved the wood burner, outdoor firepit, outdoor bath (highly recommended) and all the goodies Sally left for us including fresh veggies and herbs from her garden. She was an outstanding host and was immediately responsive to any questions or requests. A bonus was an eclectic collection of local artworks in the cottage some of which is for sale. The cottage itself is simply decorated yet very comfortable and functional. Overall 10/10 from us.

Stunning view of Mt Canobolas
It was freezing outside but the cottage was cosy and comfortable. We were able to walk out and admire the views, listen to the frogs and birdsong and think about how hard life must have been there when the place was first settled. For our granddaughter - a city based 18 year old - it was mind boggling. Once convinced she did have phone reception and that snakes were not going to leap out and attack her she thoroughly enjoyed herself.

Wow factor plus
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything from the outdoor fire pit and the indoor fireplace to the outdoor bath! An incredible experience overall. Stargazing while soaking in the tub was very special. Sally was a perfect host and provided everything we needed to make this a memorable stay. The gift basket was a very special touch. The cabin was clean, comfortable and cozy. We’ll definitely be back.

A perfect getaway
Sally's property is a perfect place if you want to get away from concrete jungle. It is a peaceful farm with kangaroos occasionally visiting. The outdoor bath is an excellent addition. And lastly the local goodies that Sally had for us were a great touch.
Would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Orange and want to have a peaceful time.
