this property is beautiful and is in a great location! i highly recommend staying here and the staff is very helpful! the rooms have everything you need and there is a great courtyard area where you can sit and enjoy the view of the city. It is about a 15 minute walk to the downtown area and very accessible. The staff is very helpful and accommodating.

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Castle so much that we booked again the night before flying back to the states. Simple, clean and quaint accomodations. Air conditioning works great in the room, and a nice kitchen with coffee provided (we got some leche at the store). The patio is pleasant with lots of seating and a distant view of the cathedral. Easy walking to downtown, and we found parking both days of our stay. The first day we met Paula who was great. The last stay we didn't see anyone who worked there, but the instructions for checking in and out, getting our key were clear and simple. I'd stay there again without hesitation.

We liked the lovely courtyard with plants and lemon tree but unfortunately we did not have much time to use it. We also liked the common use kitchen and used it for morning breakfast of coffee and pastry. Nice to have a fridge to cool drinks and keep yogurt. However, taxi drivers found the location difficult to find and access on a short one-way street. They had to back down to exit the lane. Also, we couldn't find a convenience store in the neighbourhood to buy milk for coffee and cereal.

Very sweet and cosy little hotel in the still area of old town in Malaga. It couldn't be better. Unfortunately, it was a very short stay, but I will definitely come again.

It was a tiny / very little room to Stay. Aircon was a good thing and the fact there is no many others at the same time because it only has a few rooms to offer. Two floors. Bathroom is for each floors guests to share. Kitchen too. Nice thinking behind it. Coffee is on the house to Make but the machine is terrible.. no good resoults… maybe a coffee/ moccamaster or else would be better for everyone.

Misleading description and photos

The room was clean and comfortable however I have been forced to leave this review to put straight the misconception that the hotel has a "swimming pool". The photographs of the pool are completely misleading. At best it is a plunge pool and it is without question the smallest "swimming pool" I have ever seen. In general the garden area needs some TLC and a little updating. If the idea of a pool is the attraction here then forget it!

Ho soggiornato qui con il mio compagno per 3 notti e 4 giorni, a marzo, nella camera con bagno privato. La pulizia era ottima, di tutti i locali anche quelli condivisi, il giardino stupendo, però mi sento di far presente una cosa: non scrivete che c’è il parcheggio perché non è vero. Per questa vacanza abbiamo noleggiato un auto, avevo già visto che c’erano problemi con i parcheggi a Malaga, perciò nella ricerca dell’alloggio abbiamo controllato che ci fosse specificato il parcheggio, e nello specifico il Blue Castle Guesthouse aveva scritto “parcheggio in strada”. IMPOSSIBILE PARCHEGGIARE. Posti sempre occupati, gente del posto che striscia la macchina, via completamente in salita e stretta, che una volta arrivati alla fine della via e visto che non c’era parcheggio, non si riusciva nemmeno a girarsi per tornare indietro! Dico solo, abbiamo speso piu di 150 euro in parcheggio. Quindi per chi stesse cercando un alloggio con un parcheggio gratuito e comodo, qui non te lo possono offrire, per il resto tutto bene.

Det var otroligt trevliga tjejer i personalen. Mitt rum var trevligt och jag hade en skön airconditioner som gjorde sitt jobb. Det var rätt lyhört vilket drar ner betyget lite, men har man öronproppar var det inte jättejobbigt. Uteplatsen med pool och olika lounge/chillmöjligheter var också super! Uppskattade också att man fick kaffe och flingor…
