Pet Policy: This property is pet-friendly by approval only. A maximum of 2 pets are permitted with payment of a $150 pet fee per stay. All pets must be disclosed and approved prior to arrival. Beautiful Cabin in a tranquil setting.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful and a delight to stay in. It had all the listed amenities and then some. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful!

This house was stunning and was the perfect place to reset after a long week. Perfectly located. This is also the cleanest place we have rented on VRBO. The fireplace is the perfect touch.

The Cabin was very clean and comfortable. My kids loved the ping pong table and games in the basement. The Gentleman’s lounge was the perfect spot to hang out. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet Getaway

We were looking for a quiet getaway for our family. It ended up raining while we were there but with the arcade games and other games on the lower level we were still able to enjoy ourselves and have an amazing time. We really enjoyed ourselves and felt right at home.

Beautiful property in central location

We "stayed in" for a low key "relax and refresh retreat" with family, and enjoyed the living room with fireplace and porches. Communication was superb. Location is easy to get to with a rural feel and city amenities within easy reach. The family agreed we would love to return.

A Great Place

This is the best place that I have stayed at. The interaction with the host was delightful. Far and above the best stocked kitchen I have seen. The first night of the stay we had a stellar view of a meteor shower. We will be staying here or at another one of Allison’s properties again.

Shawnee Birthday Celebration

The home is even nicer than the pictures! It was perfect for our 3 generations to gather to celebrate a milestone birthday. Close to hiking, vineyards, and orchards. The home had all of the amenities needed. We will definitely be back.

Perfect for everyone to hang out together!

This house was the perfect setup for our family to be together in one big room to eat, play games and just hang out. We made use of the ping pong table and dart board and enjoyed sitting around the campfire in the evenings. It was very clean and nicely stocked. I would definitely recommend to any group. We had a really nice weekend!

A gem of a rental❗️ Photos are spot-on. Great space. Glorious fall foliage setting too. House is well equipped and suitable for anyone; couples, groups or families with kiddos. Our group of 6 enjoyed all of the house amenities ( especially the outside fire-pit area), wine country and the nearby casino. Highly recommend a stay in this well appointed place❗️

Wow!

We had a wonderful family weekend get away! We could not have asked for better communication and recommendations for fun activities and great food. The online manual was a super helpful tool for planning food and fun activities appealing to the whole group. The cabin was beautiful and clean. My nephews enjoyed the game room. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of. We were able to relax and enjoy each others company around the fire pit at night.

Amazing Cabin near Giant City State Park

We had a wonderful family get away seeing the sights around Giant City State Park. We enjoyed hiking the trails and being together. This cabin is beautiful, clean, spacious and just as pictured. From the moment we arrived we were happy with our decision to stay at Hartline Hill Cabin. The game room was a fun for our granddaughters. We were very comfortable, had plenty of room and it was perfectly clean. We would stay here again, if ever back in this area. It was close to everything and Allison and Ashlyn were easy to communicate with. The night sky is spectacular!!

Celebration of college graduation and selection as US Air Force officers.

Simply outstanding property. Saw picture of cabin on VRBO but it’s one of those instances where you must see to believe. I am 70 years old and my son and his friends asked me to join them for four days to celebrate their college graduation and all getting commissioned as 2nd Lieutenants in the military (5 Air Force & 2 Army). Plenty of outdoor space to play flag football(I can still hang), spikeball and corn hole. Hiking trails nearby. Indoors, we had ping pong, darts and to the delight and surprise of the boys, video arcade with LOTS of games. With 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, the cabin was spacious to accommodate all 8 of us. Large living room/ dining room/ kitchen. Had indoor fireplace but did not use. The fire pit area was great and a great place to hang out. The surrounding area was wooded and beautiful. Already thinking of bringing wife and my other children for a stay. We did lose power for a little over an hour one day due to thunderstorms but quick communication with Ashlyn kept us informed of our status. Thank you Hartline Cabins. We will come back

Beautiful property in a quiet area of Makanda. We made several trips to Giant City State Park which was extremely convenient.We had to contact the host several times and Allison was very speedy with her responses and resolved a couple of minor issues that we experienced. We had 5 seniors in our party and we all had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our week.
