"The room we were assigned when we checked in was dirty and had not been cleaned since the previous guests left. The pool wasnt working. The ice machine on our floor was out of order. The room we checked into had 2 bath towels but no hand towels or wash cloths. When we tried to use the microwave in our room it tripped the breaker and turned iff our refrigerator, TV, and microwave, which was plugged into a power strip. It trippes several times and we were not able to use the microwave. The flushing mechanism on the toilet wasnt working and my husband had to fix it. The bathroom door dis not lock and often wouldnt stay closed. The bathroom door didnt fully close as it was not attached to the frame straight. We spent over $450 for a two night stay that was maybe woth $200. We feel entitled to a refund."

"So I booked a hotel for our trip to Kirksville for a Special Olympics tournament. We have my grandma who is handicapped but we didn’t realize that the hotel did not have an elevator and handicap accessible. They never told us. So we ended up canceling our reservation via Expedia/Afterpay but Expedia still hasn’t canceled our booking since Thursday. Since then we had to book 3 different hotels and it was very hard on us."

"The property had bugs in the rooms, holes in the sheets, no a/c anywhere but in rooms, scarce breakfast options and no working amenities like the pool, bar or anything in the lobby area. Appliances in rooms are old, the hotel smells like mold/wet air. The front desk was very kind and patient with upset customers and working to do everything they could to accommodate guests. I felt bad for them having to deal with that kind of situation over and over again with upset guests."

"Property was very peaceful and quiet, yet conveniently located to lake and town. Cabin had everything we needed, with a very comfortable bed. We will definitely be back for another stay!"
