Joseph & Sylvie are dynamic! They love to share their home with their guests. They enjoy visiting & telling stories & hearing your stories. Very accommodating. They are located in Old Lyon, so plan on 2 steep driveways, apx 12 steps to the main level, then 24 steps plus 2 to get to the room, but it's so worth it. Most taxis will not drive up to the Inn, but they or Joseph will help with your luggage.

Sylvie was a wonderful host! She made us breakfast each morning and we had fun conversations while we enjoyed breakfast. She was warm and welcoming and immediately felt at ease when we arrived in Lyon. She’s located right in Old Lyon and if you continue walking up the hill from her house you can see a magnificent view of the city. I highly recommend a stay with Sylvie if you want a true local experience.

Towards the end of a 2 1/2 week visit to France and Switzerland, this room, which is a single room within a house owned and managed by the proprietor, was a complete surprise. Far and away the best accommodation of my vacation. I was a solo traveler, but this room would also be great for 2.

Great stay in old Lyon

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Chez Sylvie, everything was perfect. As many have said previously, Sylvie is a fabulous host and really enjoys having people stay at her bed and breakfast. Great location in the old town of Lyon, and the steep hill really gets the heart racing! What an amazing city, so much to see and especially the beautiful Basilica at the top of the hill overlooking the city!

One of our favorite bed and breakfasts ever

Sylvie's BnB is absolutely amazing. We have done a lot of world travel, and Sylvie's place is unmatched. Her service is amazing and the room is exceptional. The location is central to many places in Vieux Lyon, making it very walkable. Sylvie is a spectacular host.
