「The room was well proportioned, neat and clean. Bathroom was a great size. Fridge had complinentary milk for tea and coffee , also bottles of water which was very welcome. Bed was very comfy with a good view of the tv which offered netflix」

「Very far away from town centre, no shops around, supermarkets a bit far away. No shower, and not even plug on the bath, just an old towel. Expensive, 50 per day, for that price you can book at Travellodge with toilet inside the room and in conditions, plus maybe breakfast included. The only good thing was ability to cook」

「Brandon Lodge is a very comfortable, clean and tidy place to stay. We had a garden room and although it’s off of a main road it was very quiet. I slept very well. The breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. We hope to stay again later in the year.」

「The Celyn is located in an outstanding rural position. From the moment you arrive Sarah and Paul were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was good sized, clean with outstanding views over the farm. The sheep and lambs were in the field in front and it was nice to see them. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. 「Rather a quirky place on the edge of Bristol. There is a bus stop right outside, very convenient, took about 40 minutes into city centre so no parking to worry about. Our room was rather dark with heavy wood and colour scheme, but well enough equipped, although there was a considerable amount of traffic noise. Tiny shower and diy breakfast (plenty of it). The owner was away but the gentleman who welcomed us was very friendly and chatty. This was not a luxury stay but fine for a stopover. 」

「Great place and great host! We had a room at the top of the place and it was a bit noisy outside at around 10pm but after that we slept great. Our toilet wasn't flushed from the previous guests when we arrived but besides that the house was spotless. Charles was a very welcoming host and made us an incredible breakfast. Would definitely stay again whenever in the area. 」

「We spent Thurs-Mon in Jane and Malcolm’s lovely cottage. The location is incredible and we were blessed with some fantastic weather! The cottage had everything we needed. The sheep and chickens outside are brilliant and our little one had so much fun watching them. Our dog has been on some incredible walks in the woods on the doorstep and at some of the tourist areas nearby. We’ve had such an amazing stay and can’t that Jane enough for being a wonderful host! 「We had a wonderful stay. The property owner showed us around telling us everything we needed to know. There was a fantastic welcome hamper including wine and easter chocolates, milk and beers in the fridge ,complimentary biscits and beverages. Cannot fault this property. Home from home. Will definitely return.」

「The property is set in wonderful grounds and is well furnished. We had everything we needed for a 4 day stay. The fire in the lounge was a lovely focal point throughout the time we were there and we would love to return in summer when we could use the pool. Unfortunately Vrbo’s computer system did not appear to communicate with the property agent’s which led to various problems, including the property manager not knowing that we had paid the deposit. A phone call with the property agent easily...
