室内にアリ（蟻）次々に現れ歩き回る！朝食会場も同様！責任者の謝罪なし！
シングル、最上階のエアコン付、バルコニー付の部屋。Room.No. 56。エアコンは古くて見た目も汚い。リモコン使用方法の案内通りに使用しても、温度設定も風量も全く変更できず調節が効かない。気温３０度超えの日だったが、エアコンをつけると室内が寒くなりすぎ、消すとすぐに室温があがってしまう。 しかし何より最悪なのが、部屋にアリが現れ歩き回っていること。当初は、チェックイン時バルコニーへ出る窓が開いていたので、そこからアリが室内に数匹侵入していて、捕まえればいなくなるものと思っていた。しかし、窓を閉め何時間たっても、床を見るたび次々数匹ずつ発見する。最上階の部屋だが、どうやら壁・床などにアリの通り道があるらしく、チャックインから７時間の間に４０匹以上は発見・処分した。 どうすべきか思い悩み、食事や風呂、寝ることなど何も出来ないまま結局夜中の１時半過ぎ、フロントの夜間担当スタッフに部屋のチェンジをお願いした。その男性スタッフはすぐに事情を察して謝罪し、全力で他の部屋を探して荷物運びを手伝うなどしてくれた。しかし、その部屋は広いもののエアコンなく、天井のファンは電気を消すと停止するので寝苦しかった。結局チェンジ後に軽い食事・風呂などをアリの不安を抱えたまますることとなり、睡眠時間はほんの２、３時間だった。 翌朝フロントへ行くと、チャックイン時対応した女性スタッフがマネージャーらしく、変更後の部屋はどうかと聞いてきたので、アリはいなさそうだと言うと、それは良かったと謝罪の言葉もない。３泊の予約だったがチェックアウトしたい旨伝えると、考え直せというので、朝食を食べながら考えると答えたが、朝食会場の壁際の席に座ったところ、なんとそこにもアリが次々と、テーブルのすぐ脇の壁を歩き続けていた。朝食後、「朝食会場にもアリが沢山歩いていた。」と言うと、マネージャーはただ一言、チェックアウトの時間を言うのみ。 その後急いで、２泊分の新たなホテルを探して予約し、荷造りしてチェックアウトしに行くが、そんな状況にも関わらず、マネージャーは謝罪の言葉をとうとう一度も発せず、険悪な雰囲気で、しっかり１泊分請求された。あり得ない。 毎年欧州周遊旅行をしているが、ワースト３に入る最悪のホテル・経験で、高い宿泊代に全く見合わないホテルである。ホテル案内には「リノベーション済」と宣伝しているが、何を言わんやである。

Die Lage vom Hotel Pestalozzi ist ideal, ganz in der Nähe von der ÖV - Verbindungen. Das Personal vom Hotel ist sehr freundlich. Habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Super Lage, freundliches Personal, sauberes Zimmer doch uns fehlte ein Wasserkocher, ein Vergrösserungsspiegel im Bad & Mini Bar / Kühlschrank. Das Zimmer und vor allem das Bad war sehr klein.

location. If you have to stay overnight in Lugano this is a convenient location. the Hotel is under some renovation now. The shower is good. It is a good value for staying in Lugano.

Avevo gia soggiornato molti anni fa in questa struttura. Buona la colazione (preferibile consumare prodotti svizzeri tipo yogurt e burro, pane fatto in casa) succo di frutta non fresco. Stanza comoda e pulita ma troppo calda. Peccato per il parcheggio non vicino e a pagamento

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, ist groß und hat sehr freundliches Personal. Das Frühstück war einfach aber gut und ausreichend. Ein Parkhaus in der Nähe wurde mit einer vom Hotel zur Verfügung gestellten Ausfahrkarte auf 25 CHF für unbegrenzte Parkdauer beschränkt. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf den See. Das Zimmer war sauber, das Bad auch. Es hätte natürlich etwas geräumiger sein können für den aufgerufenen Preis …

Didn't disclose well enough that there will not be AC included unless you pay for an "AC" room. When looking at amenities, AC is included (but this apparently is just for the overall hotel, not your specific room).

Another lovely stay

In die Jahre gekommen
Die Zimmer sind tipp-topp sauber und unseres war recht gross. Die Einrichtung ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und wenn man kein Zimmer zum Hof hat kann es recht laut werden wie insgesamt recht hellhörig ist. Das Personal ist professionell und freundlich, die Lage zum Zentrum prima.

Great location but avarage hotel.
The staff was very kind and helpfull. The breakfast was average with every day the same. Any hot items like eggs, extra to pay. Finally a Formula1 standard. Bed reminden me at the army times, so below the modern standard. This is maximum a 7 rating.
