A bit further afield is the town of Southwold with the famous Adnams brewery where you can take a tour and have tastings, an array of independent shops and restaurants and not forgetting the traditional pier and colourful beach huts, there is a foot ferry over to Walberswick which is famous for the world crabbing championships.

Aldeburgh is a quaint seaside town and is home to a famous fish and chip shop, get there early to beat the queues, or if you fancy cooking some fish yourself pop along to the many fisherman’s sheds where fresh fish caught that day can be caught daily. If you love animals then Africa Alive in Kessingland is the perfect place, with hundreds of animals to see and there is also a regular Sunday boot sale.
