The appartment is located 2-3 rows from the sea (50m overhead line). One minute walk from a middle-size food store (Konzum) and steps from the town market (open in mornings only). Closeby you also find a large foodstore (Plodine). The town offers great variety of bars, yearlong open cafe with great atmosphere, praised restaurants with delicious foods and stores withs Italian ice cream. Easy access to the Lungomare. The Franz Joseph I Promenade, known as the Lungomare, connects the picturesque fishing village of Volosko with Opatija and further on with Ičići, Ika and Lovran. A walk along this promenade above all means enjoying the fresh sea air and a beautiful coastal landscape dotted with quaint coves, but it is also a chance to learn something about local history, the richness of the coastal vegetation and the beneficial effects of the local climate.
All around the appartment there is a number of free parking spaces. The building includes a bar in the basement, few offices downstairs and our appartment in the top floor.
There is easy access from Lovran to explore nearby towns. Buses regularly drive to Opatija, Rijeka, Moščenička Draga etc. The bus stop is just below the appartment. Taxis and Uber are also at your disposal for an inexpensive drive.
There is a number of different beaches freely accessible in Lovran, including a kids beach. We also recommend you visit Cres, Lošinj, Pula and Brioni (for 1 day trips). All offer awesome historical and natural experience.
Mountaineers will be happy with the Učka mountain range that rises behind the Opatija riviera with elevation of almost 1.400m and offers magnificient views over the sea and the islands. Famous for its abundant vegetation, in particular the forests of sweet chestnuts.
Music events are organised during the summer to enrich the town's offer.
The Oldtown is peaceful and charming.
A number of banks and cash machines in the town secures you do not need to bring a lot of cash.
