Beautiful Historic Home

Very nice recent re-model on a beautiful historic property. We thoroughly enjoyed the wrap around porch, visiting with our friends, and watching the birds and deer. As well, it is close to nice restaurants.

Perfect house for two little families.

We traveled from South Florida to stay at this beautiful quaint home and are so pleased with our visit. We were two young families with 3 kids under 3. It was so nice to have an extra bedroom for more space. Our kids loved outdoor balcony and views of the little river. Although secluded, it was very close to a bunch or restaurants. Highly recommend!

Living History

Once in a lifetime experience. So grateful to everyone who had a role in renovating this historic property. The house is a treasure with elegant wraparound porches in authentic Kentucky style. The spacious well-furnished interior achieves modern day luxury while keeping its character. The home overlooks Harrod’s Creek and we saw deer from the window. Convenient to the excellent restaurants one minute away. We are already planning a return stay.

get away surrounded by nature

Lovely new remodeled Historical house. Surrounded by nature, saw deer, birds, woodchuck right outside the beautiful wrap around porch. Liz was easy to communicate with. Good that she told us the gravel road before the bridge, as the GPS told us the wrong house. Close to down town and grocery store.

Waterfront Retreat

This property is a historic house that has been restored. They did a very nice job of providing contemporary amenities ( you may want to bring ice cube trays) . We had a group of 9 and had plenty of room. One bedroom did not have a closet so we had to share closet space with another room. Host was prompt in responding to requests and concerns. The yard accommodates 3 vehicles but limits any outside activities. Rap around porch was very nice to enjoy your morning coffee.
