Find Lot Bed And Breakfast

Bernadette was an excellent host. Family of 4 was very comfortable in two adjoining rooms. Rooms and bathrooms have all been renovated with modern amenities . Beds were very comfortable. Host asked us the night before when we would like breakfast, her suggestion for 9:00 am was perfect time. Fresh pastries ( all homemade) yogurt, jams, juice and coffee and chocolate milk for kids, were all ready for us. We enjoyed talking to Bernadette about our travels during breakfast. We had such a wonderful stay at La Sarlamandre. Our hosts, Stéphy and Séb were so kind and welcoming from the start. The rooms are very clean and feel brand new. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and cake. Everything was so perfect and their attention to detail made our stay so comfortable. We really felt at home. We were so sad to leave and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Merci beaucoup!

Excellent. Very comfortable, plenty of space, indoor pool, total quiet, well stocked fridge for guests, very good breakfast. Only minor issue is that the location is a bit remote from the nearest villages - definitely a car needed, not walking distance. Plus you will need Google Maps to find it (may not be a bad thing!).

We loved this place. The lady operating it was excellent. She helped us locate it from the train station, checked us in early and easily. The property is well situated to see the town and is easily walkable. The room was large and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was also quite large. Breakfast was good, with fresh bread, fruit, yogurt, granola, cereal, coffee and orange juice. 5 stars all around…we would definitely stay here again,

This place was absolutely wonderful. Clean and comfortable, beautiful surroundings and our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Great breakfast, too. Close to many villages as well as Sarlat, without being in the thick of the city. Would definitely stay there again if I return.

The hotel is located near the center of the old city, many restaurants within 3 minute walk. A free parking lot is 5-7 minute walk, and always had a spot in early October. The staff of Clois and Valentine were terrific.

Truly an amazing place to stay. If you want to stay in a very old hotel, you will not be able to beat this, maybe 800-900 years old? They have put a lot of effort into updating this place to make it work as a hotel. The only effort that was lacking (maybe my view because I'm American) was that the room didn't have AC. Also, there were no screens in the windows, so when opened them, we attracted bugs. We were there during a very hot week in the south of France. We brought our own fans (they...
