Looking for a fun and unforgettable stay on the water? Welcome aboard our cozy sailboat in beautiful Marina del Rey! This charming floating retreat is perfect for couples or adventurous travelers looking for a unique experience just minutes from Venice Beach.

The marina is a safe and lively area with security regularly patrolling, and you’ll be surrounded by ocean views, great cafés, and amazing restaurants all within walking distance.

Our sailboat is small but incredibly comfortable and full of character. It truly comes to life at night with beautiful ambient lighting that creates a magical vibe while you relax on the water. Fall asleep surrounded by the gentle sounds of the marina and wake up to sunshine and sea life — including our famous neighbors, the playful sea lions!

Inside the boat you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay:

Mini fridge and mini freezer
Gas and electric cooktops
Coffee maker, blender, and water kettle
Cozy heater that keeps the cabin warm while maintaining great airflow
One of the best parts of staying here is falling asleep under the stars and waking up on the water — it’s a peaceful and memorable experience you won’t find in a typical hotel.
There’s also plenty of fun nearby! Paddle boarding, kayaking, and other water activities are available in the marina, making it easy to enjoy the ocean lifestyle.
Please note: this is a sailboat experience, not a five-star hotel. It’s cozy, adventurous, and perfect for adventurous travelers looking for something different. Access requires stepping onto the boat, which can be a bit challenging, so it may not be ideal for older guests or anyone with mobility issues. While there is no bathroom inside the boat, the marina provides clean bathrooms and showers just a super short walk away. (Around a 15 second walk!)

We had an awesome stay! The boat was exactly as described. If you love boats, you’ll definitely enjoy staying here. We slept great and really wished we could’ve stayed another night. Sitting outside under the stars was so peaceful.Estavan was an amazing host, super kind and patient (I was a bit of a dingbat trying to figure out where to meet for check-in).The marina’s in a great spot, close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. We didn’t walk anywhere this time, but there are definitely some places nearby if you want to explore.We’re already planning to come back and stay a few extra days next time!

Tidy, cozy, and a one of a kind experience!

The host was super responsive, and check in/out was very easy. Clean and cozy, this was perfect for just me visiting some friends in Venice Beach. Waking up on the water and watching sunsets from the boat was magical! And it’s a great deal too! Would stay again.

This boat is a real camping adventure. I couldn't figure out the lighting the first day so I lit candles the second day I got the lights on and then they slowly dimmed and then went off because the battery ran outof power. But I had a flashlight. It's okay. There's no running water. The toilets on shore were locked up and the water didn't work in men's bathroom after I finally broke in. Other bathroom the sinks didn't drain and they were full of dirty water so that was kind of gross. but I was camping so it didn't matter. It was fun being on the docks seeing the beautiful morning with a fog. So I really like the experience as long as I remembered that I was camping

So cool - So quiet!

Such an amazing and unique place to stay, located close to the beach and so much peace and quiet and feel you I know we near Los Angeles. Very comfortable sleeping arrangement, I sleep in the bow of the boat and loved it. Will definitely be coming back to stay again and the host was super helpful

We really enjoyed our stay on the boat! The bed was comfortable, sheets clean, equipment all functioning. Could watch the stars from bed at night :-) Location is great.. able walk to marina beach in 10 mins and Venice beach in 20mins. Evening cocktail hour with sun setting back at boat made whole experience priceless. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay on the sailboat sooo much! It’s in a beautiful location and the boat has all of your basic needs and more. Estevan was very helpful with any questions we had and was thorough with explaining things which was wonderful. It is safe, cozy, and a truly unique experience. I highly recommend you check it out!

What a wonderful host Estevan was to us. He was very polite and gave very clear directions on how to enter an exit his property. Everything is in walking distance and if not, there are bikes and scooters. You can rent that are fun. It’s right on the water so you can’t go wrong, the weather was beautiful. Would definitely love to stay again.

Cozy and quaint. Fun!

The boat was just as described, cozy, quaint, and fun. The communication with the landlord was quick and thorough. The location is great. I ran form the boat to the beach each day. I sent pictures to my friends and they all wanted to do it! This is not a hotel though. It is for someone that wants something different. For those people, I highly reccomend it.

Awesome weekend!

What a fabulous weekend. Like camping on the ocean. With beautiful views, beautiful location. Cozy is the perfect description. It was perfect for us. We had activities planned. And to have a lovely environment to come back to and relax at the end of a long day out was amazing. Estevan was in contact and accessible if needed. A wonderful host. My grandson and I will definitely want to do this again. And this is where we will stay if available. Thank you so much Estevan for a weekend of beautiful memories! You're the best!

Beautiful location, nice host

The sailboat is beautiful, clean and cozy. The listing said a one bedroom, and that is has a bathroom. It’s more like a single cabin with a sleeping pod, not a full one bedroom. The bathroom and showers are down the dock, outside the gate, and across the driveway. There is a sink, small refrigerator and propane cooktop inside the cabin, and once you’re inside it’s nice and cozy. Estevan is very nice and was available via phone. I appreciated the late checkout and I would book again. Wonderful experience!
