"I visited the resort to have a solo night of relaxation ahead of Mother’s Day. The room I stayed in had some kind of an ant infestation. I saw something moving and then looked down at the carpet and saw so many small ants and food crumbs under the sofa. There were make up stains throughout the bathroom and on the sheets. There was hair in the bathroom shower and bathroom floor. I first went down to the Bistro around 4 pm and was completely ignored by multiple hostesses. I eventually left and decided later that evening l would order takeout. I ordered the Chicken Picatta which was extremely disappointing- so bland and had a very gummy texture in the sauce. "

"The house was perfect for our trip to Boston and the surrounding area. Very family friendly and would be a great location to bring a pup (trail right there which we walked on every day and small grass yard). Boston traffic was heavier than we expected but we had no issue taking an Uber to and from either. There’s a little grocery store and Duncan nearby. Quiet area but with convenient amenities. Jenny was very responsive and kind. Would stay again for sure! "

"The motel is just that. A dated motel. The room was small with a shower stall. But on the other hand it was extremely clean and well taken care of. The owner, Cristen, was incredibly attentive to any needs you might have. So if you don’t need all the perks of an expensive place, and just need a bed for the night or longer, this is a great place to stay."

"Everything was wonderful. Exactly as described. All the little things were perfect, breakfast, housekeeping, snacks, the view, parking, etc.. Location is walking distance from the beach and restaurants, but far enough for quiet privacy. Thank you Cheryl (hope I'm spelling that right), you have a lovely property. Would love to return."

"We had to book a quick trip to the area for a funeral. Finding this gem still available on the Boston Marathon weekend was luck! We enjoyed the sun room, and the ease of access to the quaintest town area. Did not have a need to contact the owner or mgr for anything other than to say that this VRBO was just perfect for us! "

"This could be a nice place to stay but is in need of some major upgrades. The pictures are very deceiving. In one bedroom there was an outlet that had a large orange extension cord that ran across the room behind the bed then plugged into an 8 prong outlet that was behind the bedside table laying on the radiant heater. There are three glass sliding doors that are blocked off with vinyl fencing. The deck listed for use is attached to the apartment downstairs that has year round tenants. The fire place is not sealed (see pictures). The carpet looked to be in need of a deep clean and was pilling. In the bedroom with the couch, behind the couch there is baseboard heat that does not have a cover. In one of the front bedrooms the smoke detector was not in place and sitting on a table with a missing battery. See pictures below of major concerns. The communication with the owner was not the greatest. I had to reach out an hour prior to check in to get the code for the house. We were not provided any checkout instructions and they were not responsive when I asked them the morning of checkout what was expected. "

"We had a wonderful family get-together at this lovely Hingham house. It was perfect for our needs and the hosts were very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this well-outfitted home in its great location."
