Hop on a boat to Looe Island and explore the nature reserve during the day, and in the evening come home to this lovely penthouse to enjoy a glass of wine and take in the views from the private paved sun terrace.
Make your way up the sloping path and steps to reach the front door of this peaceful property – one of a group of apartments that have been lovingly-converted from a traditional Victorian seaside villa. Step inside and you’ll find a cheerful open-plan kitchen/living room/diner with a wonderful, wide picture window overlooking the sea. Take a moment soaking up the welcoming ambiance in the living area before heading to the sleek kitchen area, where you’ll find everything you need to rustle up a romantic dinner for two. Enjoy an intimate dinner at the dining table in front of the window, or head out onto the balcony to enjoy the magnificent views as you dine alfresco. After dinner, spend a little time snuggling in front of the TV before retiring to the cosy bedroom for the night.
Grab your walking boots and go for a rewarding hike at Rame Head (3 miles). Climb to the top and you’ll find a 14th century chapel - the views along the coast from there are simply spectacular. Alternatively, enjoy a romantic afternoon losing yourself in the quaint, narrow streets of the picturesque fishing village of Polperro Harbour (4.5 miles). Treat yourself to some local seafood before returning to the penthouse.
