「Check in was super easy, room was absolutely spotless and decorated very nicely. Beds are extremely comfortable, and amenities provided gave everything you would need. Located perfectly between Killington and Woodstock. Lots of bars and restaurants in the area. Probably one of the cleanest motels I’ve ever stayed in, would definitely recommend. 」

「My family of 3 stay here about every six weeks. We have been staying at the 506 for about 8 years now. While we love the location, the staff at breakfast, and the pool/hot tub, the shared spaces during this visit seemed worn, not the cleanest and the number of staff was sparse. They have increased their prices since the new owners took over about a year ago and although they’ve updated the rooms with paint, new linens, decor, it seems the family vibes and familiarity are non-existent. 」

「The Shire is in a wonderful location and I would recommend for a short stay. They are in the midst of a renovation and the rooms and exterior are nice and well kept. My only issue was that the coffee bars were not well stocked all the time with the same variety and the ice machine was not well stocked as it ran out of water to produce ice during our 2 night stay. Otherwise, the place and location is wonderful.」

「This property is very dated, and it shows it, through flow around the three buildings to get to the amenities, parking areas, fixtures, appliances, dilapidated exteriors, bathroom, and common spaces. These buildings are 45 years old and they wear it. The room was a fine space to spend a weekend, but a cheap, clunky, ugly portable 'closet' installed between the bedroom and living room in place of a wall interrupted the flow of the unit in a jarring manner.
