Everything was perfect ! Peaceful beautiful location , dog friendly yard , well stocked and clean , great communication with host , we will definitely book again !! Thank you !!
The property was beautiful. The location was great. Very peaceful and relaxing. The entire family had a great time hiking to the waterfalls.
Thank you for the memories.
House was so close to son”s wedding venue. In our free time we walked down by lake and watched so many different birds play in the falling leaves. Setting was lovely! The house felt like we were staying at grandma”s house. Comfortable seating. We loved the rocking chairs by the fireplace.
Owner is amazing & easy to work with. Nice, quiet property. Much different than busy, big lakes. Hone very well stocked & extremely dog friendly. Will go back & highly recommend.
Great property was there for funeral but would come back for vacation.
Owner is great. Really went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. Felt like home. Thanks to him checking in & out went off without a hitch. It was raining all of our stay but would like to come back to enjoy some of the boating activities on the lake.
I loved this place—absolutely perfect for what we were looking for: a cozy home for our group (needing 3 beds) to relax while attending a nearby wedding. It's not about glitz and glam, but comfort and quiet. The front and back porch were wonderful and we loved sitting on the dock in the morning.
This was our second stay at this house. It was great to be able to enjoy the property and lake with our children and dogs. Amazing place. Really great for disconnecting and being in the moment.
We walked to Chattooga Belle Farm and had a great time.
We will be back!
We stayed a full week, the home was very well appointed with everything we needed. Close to the Gereral Store, Waterfalls and Rafting.
We have stayed at the home before and it was the same wonderful trouble free stay.
Love our time there will return.

We enjoyed our stay at Freddie's. She was very friendly and caring. She kept in touch with us. And always answered any questions. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our family time together. Thanks Freddie for all your hospitality.😁
We had a family of 11 which stayed at the property. The home is amazingly clean, neat, and spacious. There was enough room for everyone without feeling overcrowded. We enjoyed the paddle boat, Paddleboard, kayak, canoe and fishing right at the lake on the property. The deck was a good place to sit during the day and at night. Phone service isn’t that good other than on the front porch. The front porch is very relaxing. The owner was very responsive to calls and texts. Check in was an easy process and even provides you with a list of things to do in the area. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and we were able to wash our laundry prior to leaving. We visited the Nantahala Outdoor Center and went white water rafting which was awesome. Everyone in our party was satisfied with their stay and we will be visiting the property again in the near future.
We really enjoyed our stay at the house, it had plenty of room for our crowd. The property has apple and peach trees, we got there at the end of apple season so there weren't any fresh fruit. The lake is big and very quiet, the use of the canoes and paddle boards was awesome. The kitchen was equipped with plenty of utensils and the grill on the deck was huge and spotless. The owner answered texts promptly when we couldn't get but 6 channels on the TV, we would have liked to seen the Clemson-Aggie game, he gave us options to go to but we wanted to visit with family there at the house and not in town. There were 3 big beds, somewhat on the firm side, and plenty of couches plus a mattress to use if needed. I'd love to go back and stay when it's cooler, it was extremely hot and the heat pump struggled during heat of the day but caught up and had us grabbing covers at night. Overall a very pleasant stay!
Everything fine except power went out which owner had no control over of course, just one of those things! Beautiful scenery in this area. Would go back.
Everything was just as the listing showed. We had plenty of space for the four of us and our 2 dogs. We enjoyed unplugging and enjoying the quiet while we played games after rafting and ziplining. Had a great time and would highly recommend.
Excellent location for our wedding venue. Very nice landlord. Well furnished with kitchen and bath items. Pleased with our short stay. Wish that the paddle boat had been in working order. That would have been fun.

Fun, comfortable, family stay!
great two night stay over the last weekend, still thinking of it after being back!
If you are not familiar with the surrounding area, please read the welcome letter from the owner. They listed attractions and restaurants. We went to Belle farm twice for sunset, the scene is spectacular. Brasstown Falls is a must to see.
We love the treed driveway, it looks amazing in the foggy morning. The kids asked us drive though it when possible and the last day on the way leaving, they even asked us to take a video.
The lake kept us busy and we had sooooo much fun.
Great memories, Two nights was too short, will come again. Thank you very much!
We can't say enough how much we liked this property. It was comfortable, the lake was nice to have and it was super close to our niece's wedding venue which was very convenient.
What an excellent location to take young grandchildren (10 & 11) along with my two daughters and pet dogs. They supply paddle boards, canoes and a paddle boat to play with on the private lake, and there is pretty decent fishing right off the house dock.
Highly recommended.
We loved everything about the house, the property, the surroundings, the host. First time traveling in two years and we couldn't have had a more relaxing, beautiful, peaceful stay. The dogs loved it as much as we did too. The house was very well stocked with supplies, and communication with Freddie was so easy. Definitely will come back!
