The hotel is ideal for events in Hydepark 10 minutes from Lancaster Gate underground. We booked a compact room and that was an error. The room is indeed compact but the bed is super compact! Not ideal for 2 middle aged people. The air con was welcome and the bathroom was well modernised

Really good location. We were there attending a concert in the park really easy to get too. Also easy to get to paddington for getting around to see the sights. Hotel room was lovely and was clean! Our AC in the room did not work, when we ordered room service no one told us it would be delivered to the front desk (not room service obviously), and overall was an older hotel. I wish I read the reviews before booking a stay here, the hotel was run down and not up to a 4 star hotel. More like a 2 star hotel. Staff were friendly & had a wide array for breakfast.
