French doors lead from the living room to an enclosed patio with a seating area, where guests can enjoy a delicious meal cooked on the barbecue and admire the views of the rolling countryside.

Ty Nant is well situated for exploring all that this wonderful part of West Wales has to offer. The traditional village of Llanon is just over a mile away and has its own beach, as well as a local shop, pub, butchers and fish and chip shop. The surrounding area offers stunning scenery and a number of beaches to explore, many of them dog friendly all year round if you are bringing you family pet on holiday with you. Visit the Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron with its colourful houses and independent shops and restaurants. Famous honey ice cream is made locally, so make sure you buy some to enjoy whilst relaxing and watching the boats bobbing about.

A little further down the coast, the pretty town of New Quay is set above the bay, which is home to pods of bottlenose dolphins, seen on an almost daily basis throughout the year. Take a trip to the seaside and university town of Aberystwyth to travel on the electric cliff railway and admire the view at the top of Constitution Hill, or catch the steam train to Devils Bridge to see the waterfalls. Families will enjoy The Silver Mountain Experience, where you can learn all about the history of mining in Wales through a range of interesting attractions and shows. Beach 1½ miles.
