「Food is excellent and beds are very comfy. It's old-fashioned in that it's a conversion of an older building, so windows are single-glazed and the doors open with actual keys. But the rooms have everything you'd expect from a professionally run establishment. Staff are all friendly and professional though you sometimes have to seek them out – hardly surprising as there are only six rooms so they can't have someone permanently on duty.」

The room was a single and clean, although the decor was dated (the description did say it was a Victorian building). My only minor complaint is that it's a shame the car park isn't subsidised. Other than that, I can't fault this place.

Stayed in the older part of the hotel, bed is really comfortable, white crisp linen and towels, bathroom is clean with good shower, great breakfast with a nice bar that has proper Welsh ale, staff are friendly and helpful; carpets need a bit of tender loving care.
