There’s something here for everyone within 10 miles of home – whether you’re marvelling at the exotic flora and fauna of the Eden Project or visiting the National Trust’s Victorian country house at Lanhydrock (5 miles) to explore the house, gardens and parkland.
Before stepping into this welcoming cottage, take a moment to appreciate its scenic position surrounded by greenery and tree-lines hills. Head inside, kick off muddy shoes in the entrance porch, and walk through to the galley-style kitchen. Here, find everything needed for cooking up Cornish feasts, which can be enjoyed at the round dining table in the charming lounge/diner. This cosy space features exposed stone walls and south-facing windows as well as a TV for relaxed evenings in. At the end of each busy day away, retire to the restful double bedroom and start the next day with a refreshing soak in the well-appointed shower room.
