The hotel itself is beautiful, the location is excellent, and Mariana on the staff was outstanding. She spent a significant amount of time trying to help us during a very difficult arrival. Unfortunately, one of the primary reasons we booked The Lumiares was because it offered parking. Prior to arrival, the hotel sent multiple updates regarding changing road restrictions and access routes. Despite following those instructions, we spent several hours attempting to reach the hotel. Even with assistance from hotel staff and local police, we were ultimately unable to access the hotel's parking solution and were directed to alternative parking instead. As a result, we lost most of our first evening in Lisbon, missed our reservation at the hotel's rooftop restaurant, incurred additional charges, and experienced damage to our rental vehicle during the process. What disappointed me most was not the construction itself, but management's response afterward. While the inconvenience was acknowledged, no meaningful resolution was offered beyond a future-stay discount. Beautiful property and excellent front-line staff, but unfortunately the arrival experience and follow-up response significantly impacted our stay.

The younger woman, who worked most mornings was very caring . I had several Issues before find an apartment mix medical, theft and just poor experience beside being in the algarve. Which was amazing. Anyway, the young woman did everything she could to help and be patient as I did have a lot of drama. Her boss thought I was BS’s but when I should get paper work from the Hosptial stay and embassey I knew the young lady believed me. Her manager is just down right rude and feel everyone is trying to win one over on her. Who knows maybe her husband left her and she’s bitter at all men. Also the other front desk clerk who works next door at their other own and operates properties (full Story” was very helpful too. I wash their manger realized the severity of my illness. She’s just a bitter woman and she brings it out in her job which is not right at alls
