  • I took this in March in Sintra, Portugal! It's at the fairy tale castle Pena Palace :). This is one of the lovely close-up views. It's is a Romanticist castle that stands on the top of a hill in the Sintra Mountains. And undoubtedly one of the most iconic places in Portugal. And a dream come true to visit it! It is a national monument and constitutes one of the major expressions of 19th-century Romanticism in the world. The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. Beautiful Sintra

Lovely place to say in Sintra. Great location, clean, comfortable. I would definitely stay again. Walking around Sintra involves alot of up hill climbing, so being on the third floor wasn't a challenge.

The property is small but nice. You are in a little museum. But understand that a lot of pictures are not from the accommodation but from the environment around. The rooms are good for a short stay. They are easy and small. The bed are goods. The shower is nice, but the bathroom is really small. So you have to change in the room.

Fantastic stay. Our room was upgraded due to a hot water issue. The upgrade was very nice and very much appreciated. The communication regarding this issue was clear. We did experience a hot water issue in our suite but there were clear protocols as to fixing the issue and all was ok.

Well placed

Nicely located with views to the moors castle. The building inside has a lot of character and management has been able to keep it very historical. Only comments i would make is that there is a point of gathering of tuk tuk motos directly in front of building and the giys can get quite noisy. Also i side apartme nt some towel hooks to hang after shower can be nice and simple to do

We loved our stay. Close to so many places! Room was spacious and exactly what we needed for our visit. A fan to draw in the cool air from outside would have been nice but was not needed.

Parking is not explained upfront and the provided links did not work. After check in a email arrived warning about the parking situation. Room is really basic without even chairs. We could not find any kitchen, so a basic like warm coffee or tee in the morning was not possible. Shower had only warm water for one person, not two. Toilet smelled. I would avoid esp. with a large trolley on those tight stairs. Its a room for the night not a place to stay. Surroundings are great however.
