Quaint but good

A quaint little hotel of 8 rooms on the top floor of a commercial building. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. We were provided with a kettle in our room, but only decaf-coffee and sugar provided, no milk or whitener. On requesting normal coffee, we were given more decaf sachets... Breakfast was OK - the breakfast room is tiny and very cramped. No hot food at breakfast. The hotel was well situated, close to a metro station and very close to one of the best Christmas markets we found on our trip.

Excellent séjour au Castilho, idéalement placé dans Lisbonne, propreté exemplaire, délicieux petit déjeuner très complet personnel adorable et serviable. Je recommande les yeux fermés .

Cama muito boa, travesseiros, roupa de cama. A localização é próximo do metrô porém longe do centro turístico. Limpeza impecável. O único porém foi que o quarto e as roupas ficaram com cheiro de cigarro.

Bonne adresse

Le séjour avait mal commencé avec l'absence d'eau chaude, pas facile quand il fait 10 degrés dehors, mais la direction nous à proposé de changer de chambre et tout est rentré dans l'ordre. Sinon rien à redire. La personne présente pour les petits déjeuners était sympathique et accueillante.

Multiple issues

A very disappointing experience. Overall: The place is freezing and quite dark. It’s essentially converted from a large apartment and is not equipped to function well as a guest house. Room: Neither bedroom nor bathroom had proper ventilation. The bathroom wall/window had a lot of condensation and our clothes felt damp constantly. The room was clean. Breakfast: Space was freezing so we had to bring food into our room to eat. No hot food, mostly sliced up pastries/bread, some fruit. Service: Terrible. Staff are not helpful, do not communicate well in English. For example: the A/C in our room was not functioning when we moved in. We called staff member who became quite frustrated pressing all the buttons. She then left and never returned to resolve the problem. We figured out how to operate the A/C (by googling its manual). Overall there was minimal effort to help us have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. My impression is that this place is ran by someone with little or no experience in professional hospitality.

Alguém o quarto por apenas uma noite para mim e um amigo que vinha de Londres. Entretanto o amigo ficou numa festa no bairro alto e usufruir do quarto sozinho . Não tomei o pequeno almoço pois estava em cima da hora de fazer o check out . Assim não posso avaliar o pequeno almoço vosso.

La limpieza, el trato tan amable de las empleadas en especial Alexandra es encantadora. El establecimiento es muy confortable y está súper bien cuidado. Está en una zona buenísima. He de confesar que me sorprendió muy gratamente el apartamento se ajusta a lo que ofrecen y lo superan con creces. Cuando vuelva a Lisboa iré al mismo apartamento. Es más que recomendable.

Perfecta localización para escapada de unos días

Habitaciones muuuy acogedoras. Ademas, el personañ es muy atento a las necesidades de los cliente y lo hace todo para hacer que se sientan a gusto. Buenisima localozacion cerca de la parada de metro Marques de Pombal, lineas azul y amarilla perfecta para moverse a toda la ciudad. Muy silencioso y tranquilo.

The location was good being 10 mins walk to a metro station and 2 mins to a good Italian restaurant. The room was pleasantly large but it smelt of drains and the bathroom toiletries were very basic. The view was of a dingy courtyard. Breakfast was very simple and served in a too small a room so guests were squashed in together and dirty dishes were piled up in a sink next to the food.

Cozy hotel in the heart of Lisbon

Great for the money. Good location; friendly and helpful staff. It's a small place, and a bit noisy in the morning with the staff serving breakfast, etc. Rooms are small, but have everything you need. It functions more like a bed & breakfast than a typical hotel.

This hotel was situated on the top floor of a 5 storey building in the business district of Lisbon. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable and the staff friendly and spoke excellent English. Breakfast dishes were varied each day, although a little heavy on the sweet items. Security was established with electronic codes for the main door and the bedroom, so there were no keys to lose. It was also very close to a metro stop which was convenient for the centre, airport and points beyond. A Gem of a hotel!

旅慣れしてない方はちょっと大変？

若い女性の経営している宿泊施設のようで、古いビルの5階のフロアを10室程ホテルにしている所でした。都心部で地下鉄の駅に近い安い所を探していて、ここにしたのですが、21時で受付が終わる事、表にホテル名が大きく出されてない事で、21時過ぎになったため、部屋にたどり着くまで大変でした。ただ、細かくビル、部屋の入り方とか、懇切丁寧な対応をしてくれるホテルでした。
