Lions Fountain

Excellent property. Love the quirkiness of the rooms and the historical feeling. The staff was great and very helpful. I would totally recommend this to anyone traveling to Porto.

Great location and service oriented staff. Restaurant services were excellent and the food was wonderful. One of the best hotels that we've ever stayed in! Highly recommended.

Extremely disappointed. During the booking process, I reserved a room for 3 people, two adults and one child, 15 years old. Everything was paid for via Expedia. When I checked in, I was informed that everything was fine and that the room was being prepared. The hotel used a sofa with a terrible mattress as a third bed. At the checkout time I was asked to pay an extra €60, because they consider a child of 15 years old as an adult. I tried to explain that the age of the child was disclosed during the booking and during the check-in. Hotel showed zero signs of willingness to discuss or validate anything. Said this is a mistake of Expedia, they don't care, and they will charge me this money. Very frustrated and disappointed. For sure they do not deserve a status of the 5-star hotel.
