Surrounded by vast blue skies and expansive panoramic views of the White Mountains, South Mountain Resort invites you to enjoy everything the northeast countryside has to offer. Choose from cozy studios that sleep from 2 to 4 guests, or opt for more space with a 1-bedroom unit that sleeps from 4 to 6 guests, or bring the extended family and select the massive 3-bedroom Presidential suite with close to 2,000 square feet of living space for up to 8 guests! Select studios feature full kitchens, as do all of the 1- and 3-bedroom units. These also have master suites, separate living and dining areas, and balconies on the Presidential suites.

Enjoy all the amenities South Mountain Resort has to offer including an indoor pool and game room. The outdoor resort pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day each summer. Spend some time shaping up in the fitness room, then fire up the BBQ grill and surprise your family with a picnic. Hit the nearby links for a round of golf, go canoeing/kayaking, enjoy family-fun thrills at a theme park or explore area hiking and bike trails. Come winter, you can tame the slopes at one of three ski areas that are close by.

An autumn visit surprises visitors with stunning fall colors across the mountains, and is a perfect time to enjoy a scenic car ride a car ride along the beautiful Kancamagus Scenic Byway. This picturesque drive takes you through spectacular forests, vintage logging roads and across authentic-Indian hunting trails. And don't miss the a visit to Franconia Notch State Park to see the spectacular 800-foot long and 90-foot tall Flume Gorge.
