Super nice cottages on the water

We stayed here for a family wedding taking place nearby. These cottages were perfect for our needs. Very clean, well-appointed, nicely decorated! We enjoyed coffee on the screened porch and then getting out in the water on the SUP and kayaks. Hosts were responsive and helpful. Recommend 10/10!

Quiet, clean, very accommodating

We rented both properties for three nights to celebrate my husband on his 40th birthday. We brought family of all ages in from cities all over NC. The houses were newer and well maintained, clean, spacious, and even the kids had their own space to relax (double bunk beds). Screened decks allowed us to still enjoy being outside during the rain. The hosts were both very accommodating to our needs and quick to respond to our communications. We were checked on several times (via email) and given reminders of things like trash day (which I appreciated). They provided kayaks and life jackets for use on the lake, and both our kids took right to them! We swam, kayaked, grilled, played games, sat by the fire and genuinely enjoyed the time we had together. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. High Rock Lake was warm and calm. Groceries and gas were close by, we even had food delivered once. Would definitely recommend to friends and will absolutely book again in the future.
