"A cool old school house/community building converted into apartments. Very spacious. High ceilings. Well appointed with everything you would want. 15 minutes to cross village, Mackinac city. Levering itself is small and impoverished, but it was peaceful, not intimidating. Great hosts. My only complaint would be that they keep the air conditioning extremely cold."

"The dishwasher didn’t work, I tried to notify our contact, but I wasn’t able to get ahold of them. There is a laundry facility that shares the driveway, and sometimes their trucks block you in. We did enjoy our stay."

"Overall, it was a good experience. Location to ferry and downtown mackinaw was good. Cabin was good size for what we wanted. Right on the beach. However the beach is very rocky. Make sure to have water shoes for the kids. Check in was good, except being told we could check in at 1pm and showing up at 3pm and the unit was being cleaned at that time. "It was a bit tricky to find since it is hidden behind a hotel. Google maps took us to the right parking lot (Waterfront Inn) - just go all the way to the back. If you like the natural wood look, you will love this cabin. Just about perfect but missing some little details like wall hooks in bathroom/bedroom, a broom for sand on the porch, etc. Easy walk to Arnold ferry and downtown shops. "Breakfast was good. Great selection from eggs, biscuits, bacon and waffles. Would have been nice to have Cranberry Juice and the only milk we found was skim. The staff was very helpful, and being able to buy tickets for the ferry and shuttle service was a great perk. Would definitely stay there again."

"Our family had a great stay at Mission Point. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and well kept. We stayed in the straights lodge. Nothing fancy about the rooms but sufficient for our stay. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the Round Island Kitchen. Food was great. I liked the location of the resort. It was a good walk from downtown and away from all the commotion. "

"We just happen to find this hotel on hotels.com excellent room with a balcony, a beautiful view. Listed as a slight view of the lake, but it had a great view of the lake. I had a fireplace in the room. The beds were comfortable. the beach was very nice and clean and it was nice that they had a Campfire in the evening. The continental brightness was one of the better ones we’ve had at a hotel. We would definitely stay there again."

"This hotel was picked because it was pet friendly. When we got there, the young lady at check in was so nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was a great introduction! Then our room was in a great location and there was a very convenient green space for dog walking. My sister and I enjoyed our coffee and bagel for breakfast. Wonderful start to our day."
