"Mountain and ocean view. Kitchen well equipped. Comfy beds. Relaxing sitting area. 10 minute drive to larger grocery store and fruit stands. Small shops for essentials near by. Local beaches were not crowded compared to the south. Even though there was no A/C the pedestal fans made it quite comfortable. Perfect place to enjoy the local culture. "

"My daughter and I absolutely loved the Siesta. The hotel is located across the street from Grand Anse beach, Spiceland grocery store, Cummin Up BBQ, Umbrellas, KFC, Spiceland Mall, and an atm so there’s really no need for many amenities at the hotel based on its great location. Also, the Siesta is very kid/ family friendly, and they do not sell alcohol at the hotel. Nighttime is very peaceful and quiet here. I booked the hilltop suite which provided a luxurious view to wake up to every morning. When any questions or concerns arose, Deon and Bayan were very resourceful. Mrs. Deon is very kind and hospitable. She ensured my taxi reservation upon arrival, always greeted us with warmth, genuine care, and explained how I can make coco tea. I bought some from the grocery store and made some for my family as soon as I returned to the states. By the way, this hotel has the best passion fruit juice. I would recommend to remind house keep to change the towels as opposed to having the same ones throughout the stay. My daughter and I visited the beach often requiring multiple showers throughout our stay. I would recommend this hotel by far over most. "

"La Sagesse is an incredible boutique resort. The property is beautiful. La Sagesse bay is the perfect location to swim, kayak or just relax for the day. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The restaurant on site is amazing. The staff, namely Sammy and John, are wonderful and go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. The owners, Mike and Lynn, make a point to meet their guests and share their local knowledge and insight. I highly recommend booking here if you don’t want the crowds and need a place to truly relax. "This is a great boutique hotel. Nothing real fancy but location and views are superb as well as the food. The locals use this restaurant to treat themselves on special occasions. The whole resort was very clean and well run. Staff were a pleasure to deal with. Certainly a good place to relax and use as a base for day trips which are readily arranged by the front desk."

"Great place if you want to escape crowds of grand anse, amazing view from the pool and tasty breakfast. It is conviniently located if you want to explore northern part of the island. Be prepared for mosquitos and small flies"

"Romantic and relaxing with great views of the jungle and ocean. Room could use a little TLC with things like a broken soap dish in the shower, but we are an active outdoor couple and don't need grand comfort. You are in the tropical jungle so expect bugs. The voice of the jungle speaks at night. As we are active travelers we spent much time exploring the island and scuba diving , then would come back to our room to cool off in the pool and relax with the million dollar view! You are remote so a rental car or a driver is a must. We only ate dinner at the Lodge the first night there, my wife had the chicken and I had the fish and they were delicious! As they prep each meal that day, you must in form the Lodge of reservations for your meals, we were alway out and about so never knew when we would be back we didn't eat there m. We constantly ate were ever we might be or used the well stocked kitchen to prepair our own meals. The staff are some of the nicest and helpful people we have met. The Villa is about a 1 hour drive from St. George and the roads are small and wind through the mountains. If you are not an adventurous driver or passenger you may feel like you are on the roller coaster ride of your life. If you get lost or like we did get stuck in one of the many roadside ditches the locals are friendly and willing to help you in a moment! Enjoyed our time here and were sad when it came time to pack our bags and close the door one last time behind us! Thanks for the memories!"
