"Hotel is definitely not at the 4 star level yet and quite frankly shouldn’t be accepting guests at this time. The hotel pool & gym are closed while the hotel is being renovated, these are key amenities that were only disclosed upon check in. The receptionist smiled and said “You could always just get a 7 day free trial pass from good life down the street”. Not the type of response you’d expect from an aspiring 4 star hotel nor something GoodLife would be happy to hear. Multiple floors in the hotel are still in the early stages of renovation and it was impossible to work from my room due the heavy construction noise levels from drills and hammers throughout the day. Moreover, during my 2 night stay, my room was also never cleaned nor serviced by housekeeping (I asked that they return after lunch as I would be out the rest of the day and later into the evening for a conference but they bet returned). The only saving grace was that I paid 50% of their listed $450 dollar per night rate through hotels.com. Much better options in the area for $450 per night and I would avoid this hotel until their renovation is complete."

"Je n'ai pas apprécié cette hôtel. Le parking n'était pas a l'hôtel, mais a l'UQAM. La mappe remise était seulement inscrit en anglais. On ne pouvait pas rentrer et sortir du parking sans payer. On a dû se promener avec nos valises dans une ruelle sombre et sur le trottoir. Une chance je n'étais pas seul. De plus pas de bar tel que mentionné. Nous avons dormit 2 nuits, aucune femme de ménage, la deuxième journée j'ai dû utiliser les serviettes humides. J'ai retrouvé 2 poils dans le bain, et il avait un spot trempe sur le tapis à notre arrivée. Il n'ont pas voulu me donner une compensation indiquant que si on loue avec Expedia c'est comme ça."

"Check-in was smooth and quick. They helped with our bags and valet took the car. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Lobby is a little small, so can feel crowded during certain parts of the day, but were able to get in and out easily. La Mezz restaurant on Mezzanine offers continental breakfast daily, however we opted to hit the Starbucks across the street. We did do dinner at hotel twice and food was fantastic both times. Hats off to Simon for his service! Most shops were walkable from hotel. Our room faced the main road, yet it was relatively quiet. Didn't hear a lot of traffic noise. Would definitely stay here again."
