I am normally pretty candid on reviewing cheap hotels, as I dont expect much for the price I pay. The room is fine, but there was a macerator coming on and off during the entire night that kept waking me up. Unbearable...

There was hair around/in the sink where someone had been shaving their beard. Someone else’s used dental floss in the bathroom and bin. Bedding smelt like it had already been used. Pub was good, nice staff and pleasant food.

Room was adequate for a budget hotel. Nice big car park. Staff member on duty for breakfast was very rude, everyone else was pretty helpful.

The member of staff checking is on needed to go to charm school! Had to ask for second bath towel & milk. At breakfast reported poor water flow in basin & asked for toilet roll. Bread was not covered despite at least 3 flies flying around. On returning to room in the evening we again had to ask for milk. The water was still very slow & gave up running a bath as the water was not very hot despite being on highest setting. The shower head was very small & inadequate given the poor flow. The windows did not shut properly and were in desperate need of renewal. The accomodation, car park & general appearance was in need of an upgrade. Will not be staying here again.

Usual shower in bath necessitating climbing into bath to take a shower. Not for the less able. Who takes a bath these days away from home? No facilities for recycling.

Room was clean and comfortable but we could hear the neighbours quite clearly and were very conscious that our 2 young boys were probably disturbing them too. There was no decaf on site at all so I had to buy some from the petrol station across the road. Breakfast was missing some items on the menu such as muffins and other pastries. However, staff were friendly and helpful where they could be.

Room was dilapidated. Bathroom basin had tepid water only. Water pressure at all taps was very poor. Shower was almost impossible to use as pressure was so low. Room was cold only heated by 2 antiquated panel heaters. Bed was very comfy. Room was clean. Coffee, tea etc renewed almost each day. Light from outside at night filtered through into room as bathroom door couldnt be closed.

Good amenities and busy pub.

It’s a nice place. Quiet after about 8pm, the pub restaurant is always busy and the food is nice. The staff are lovely and it’s just a nice chilled place to stay. It has WiFi and lots of parking. Bathroom is clean and has a good shower. :)

The Mill fitted in with my plans ideally ie. accommodation, food and a drink all under one roof. The rooms are in a slightly dated annexe but this is not detrimental. Clean, tidy decor and quiet with adequate parking spaces. Decent breakfast included in the price, plus a good selection of pub food for an evening meal. Staff were all helpful. The only minor issue was very poor water pressure in room 13 (unlucky for me) - having a shower was challenging to say the least and I reported to the proprietor.

Good value stay in a spacious room. Bed was comfortable but the water pressure was very low which meant that the shower had very little power.
