Perfect stay in Le Canon, Lège-Cap Ferret
In one word fantastic!
We loved the house, the garden, the location!
The house is very spacious and light, good air conditioning in all areas, very spacious bedrooms with good beds and neat bathrooms. the layout of the house is perfect with the kitchen next to the terrace with sliding doors that can be opened almost completely. the kitchen is very complete with kitchen utensils and equipment. On the terrace there is a lovely outdoor fireplace, perfect for a BBQ or for some warmth when it cools down in the evening, the covered terrace also provides plenty of shade when it is hot, the swimming pool is lovely and is well maintained. the garden is beautiful, you are completely private with sun almost all day. the location is perfect, pleasant neighborhood, 10 min walk to shops and basin, 10 min walk to ocean, 20 min walk to plage de la garonne. Spacious garage where you can easily store (rented) bicycles, there is a table tennis table and several bodyboards. Marie, the concierge is extremely helpful. We rented e-bikes from Ferret Cycles, great bikes, good service and a very nice owner. In the entire 2 weeks we’ve stayed at Le Canon, we only used the car to go to Bordeaux..
