The Muhlenberg Cottage

Charming Cottage in the heart of Mount Gretna.
Welcome to your cozy retreat in the idyllic community of Mount Gretna! This charming cottage offers the perfect blend of vintage charm and modern convenience, with a comfortable living space, fully equipped kitchen, and beautiful outdoor areas.
Inside, you'll find a bright and airy living room with plenty of seating, a large flat-screen TV, and a cozy gas fireplace. The living room also features a wet bar with ample seating; a great space for entertaining guests or relaxing with a drink. The adjacent dining area features a large table with seating for eight, perfect for enjoying meals or playing games with family and friends. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials, including an electric range, dishwasher, and plenty of cookware and utensils. We have a standard drip-brew coffee maker in addition to a Keurig coffee maker.
The cottage has five bedrooms, each with its own unique character. The master bedroom features a king size bed, jetted tub, and a private balcony. Three additional bedrooms have queen beds, while the kid's bedroom has a bunk bed. All the bedrooms have comfortable mattresses, high-quality linens, and plenty of closet space.
Outside, you'll find a spacious deck with plenty of seating, perfect for relaxing.
The cottage is located just a short walk from The Jigger Shop, as well as the community's many restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions. Both the Mount Gretna Playhouse and the Mount Gretna Tabernacle are within easy walking distance. Whether you're looking for outdoor adventure or a relaxing getaway, this cottage is the perfect home base for your Mount Gretna vacation.

Adoption Party Trip Muhlenberg Cottage

This was a beautiful older property. We loved all the character of the house! There was plenty of space for everyone, and it had everything we needed for the adults and kids. My 7-year-old granddaughter said she wants to move to PA and buy the house when she grows up, lol.

Spacious, yet cozy

This property was wonderful. The house is beautiful, the outside porch areas are fantastic. Comfortable beds and a clean space. We had some slight trouble figuring out the heat in the master bedroom but the Host repsonded quickly and was very helpful. I would love to stay here again!

Ponderosa Posse visiting PA

The Muhlenberg Cottage was perfect for our ladies trip to visit PA - it was centrally located and offered everything we needed. There was plenty of room for our group of seven, we could all sit around the table for dinner, conversation and games. Perfect Weekend Getaway!

This house is everything and more! It is so conveniently located in Mount Gretna and is beautifully maintained. It was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends to celebrate my husbands birthday. The owners were super responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend this property, already planning our next getaway!

Family Vacation

Our family spent five days at the Muhlenberg Cottage. We visited Lancaster, Hershey, and the Cabela’s in Hamburg. So many are within easy driving access. The house was very spacious, clean and well stocked. It was perfect.

Muhlenberg Cottage stay

We enjoyed a fantastic, fun-filled, weekend at the Cottage. Emily was great to work with. Quickly responded to the two questions we had during our stay. The Cottage had plenty of space to spread out and to enjoy a quiet conversation, some outdoor patio time, or the big screen Tv to watch football. The bedrooms were perfect, with comfortable beds. Great location

While in the area for a wedding we also managed to visited Gettysburg, Hershey, Amish country and Philadelphia. Everything was close enough for day trips. The house was great. The pictures are very accurate. It had a lot of space to hang out. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and cute. The area gave the vibe of a small mountain town. The owner’s communication was excellent.

Fabulous for a group!

This property was spectacular for myself and girlfriends to catch up and explore the area. The design of the main level made it easy for socializing and there was plenty of room to sleep upstairs. The house was well equipped with the essentials and more. The house was also clean and well maintained. I loved having coffee on the porch in the early mornings. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the Muhlenberg Cottage!

The property was very good and well maintained. Would give five ve stars to it . The property manager was prompt at getting back and gave proper instructions and information. Our 2023 Muhlenberg Cottage Christmas

It was the most perfect Christmas! I surprised my adult angels who are outgrowing my home for holidays so I got the idea to rent a home. I wanted woodsy- cabins feel- fireplace - big open airy. This Cottage was exactly what I envisioned! The only thing missing was the snow! Emily was sooo amazing throughout the booking process. The home was just perfect!!!

Ren fair house!

This property was perfect for our needs and close to the PA Renaissance fair. Only 8 mins to it. My only complaints are that the room with the bunk beds looked much bigger in the photos, and the floor in one of the bedrooms was uneven. Over all the house was amazing. The owners are great at answering questions and everything was super clean.

Spacious clean and comfortable

Big home with all the essentials you would need including very comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and comfortable seating areas. The only thing I would change is having another room with twin beds or bunk beds in it instead of a queen bed so that multiple children could sleep there independently. Everything is in walking distance. The owner was easy to work with and answered my questions in a timely manner. We enjoyed it very much!
