「We enjoyed being able to walk off the property into National Forest and that it was secluded (good for the dog, who has a hard time around strangers). We saw a good amount of wildlife, large and small. Great place to stay if your goal is to get away from home and find some peace and quiet. Not particularly close to major tourist attractions, but convenient if you wanted to climb some of the 14ers between Breckenridge and Fairplay.」

「This was the perfect place to stay! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and serving supplies. We were in town for our son’s outdoor wedding. The house was perfect to come to at night and wake up in. The balcony was a great place to relax, see the stars then have coffee in the morning before the busy day’s activities. 「I won’t go into great detail, as the endless reviews speak for themselves. I’ll only say that our stay was like visiting a relative. I’ve never stayed in a vacation rental, that was better stocked. Absolutely ANYTHING you might need, seemed to be available, if necessary…. From extra backpacks to bear spray.
