"First time staying in Bordeaux and this was the perfect spot. Prime location at one point of the Golden triangle, but in a quiet alley off the high street. Walkable to many of the city’s highlights, including the Garrone, and just minutes from a tram stop. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating to needs. The building itself is a seamless combination of old world and mod cons. Breakfast is available on site but there are also countless cafes and bakeries in the area. Bottom line, 10/10 recommend, especially if you want to feel like you’re staying in a European city and not in a hotel that could be anywhere,"

"Especially if you want accommodations within an easy walking distance of the train station. The hotel itself is beautiful and modern. I loved my room, including my balcony with a view toward the river. The Neighbourhood is just OK; again, it’s close to a train station. But within less than five minutes walk, you are in the main touristic parts of the city. You are also right on the river for long easy walks."

"The Mondrian Bordeaux Les Carmes is a beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel common areas and rooms are beautifully and comfortably decorated. It’s a peaceful oasis amidst a busy city. We very much enjoyed the outdoor terrace and the spa. The hotel is located in the Chartrons neighborhood on the North side of Bordeaux. Plenty of restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. The Bordeaux city centre is a 30 minute walk from the hotel, but it’s a lovely walk along the river. One small slight is that the AC wasn’t very effective in our room. Regardless, we highly recommend this hotel."

"The rooms were very comfortable. The location is excellent, close to restaurants cafés. The laundry facilities are clean. what makes this hotel memorable is the staff. They go above and beyond. The general reception area is very comfortable where they serve coffee/ drinks/food. Very comfortable apartment and the reception area and staff are so welcoming."

"Alex gave us a lovely welcome. The room was spacious and there were super toiletries. Breakfast was wonderful with a good assortment of foods. Best of all was the terrace - sunny space for breakfast and apéro. Will defo come again"

"Great position- 5 minute walk to main railway station. Very clean good sized room. Could do with a few more lights. Nice modern decor. Plenty of space for clothes. Nice walk in shower. Most of staff were lovely and very helpful. The young lady who checked me in was rather non welcoming"
