"A large, classic hotel that is well-run (elevators are super efficient), with decent check-in, free parking across the street in the ramp, and a world-class pool. The gambling machines were tight ( for us), but the downtown location is a treat. We will choose the "Nugget" again."

"Our stay at Mandalay Bay was mainly for the pool and convenience to restaurant choices. Room is always clean and staff very courteous. Pool is always clean an enjoyable. There are many great restaurant choices. For the price, I highly recommend this resort"

"Great staff and clean rooms, but very loud and party-oriented for familiesI had a great stay at The Strat overall. The rooms were very clean, and the entire staff—especially the housekeeping team—were absolutely amazing and attentive throughout our visit.However, I want to note the environment for anyone booking this thinking it is a quiet, family-friendly hotel. The resort has a very heavy party vibe. We noticed a lot of young people being very loud in the hallways on the way to their rooms, and we even had someone drunkenly banging on our door late at night. That rowdy atmosphere carries into the main resort areas too, with a lot of guests lounging directly on the casino floor in minimal swimwear and bikinis rather than keeping it to the pool deck. The hotel itself is nice and the service is great, but if you are traveling with kids, just be prepared for a loud, high-energy party crowd or for the way people are dressed it was a bit uncomfortable. But again it’s Vegas I guess!"
